Increase the Battle Time

Hello, this is my first request, so sorry if I am doing anything wrong. I have read the stickies, but I may have missed something. Please lock/move accordingly. (I also used the search function and found nothing)

Idea: Increase the Battle Time.
I've had an increasing number of raids that I would've three-starred, but the time ran out first. My suggestion: Increase the Battle Time according to th level.

There would be a base time of 2 minutes. Each Town Hall Level adds a few extra seconds that can be crucial to winning a battle, but would cap off at :
Town Hall 1: 2 minutes
Town Hall 2: 2 min, 30 seconds
3: 3 min
4: 3 min
5: 3 min
6: 3 min, 10 seconds
7: 3 min, 35 seconds
8: 3 min, 45 seconds
9: 4 minutes
10: 4 minutes, 5 seconds

Overall, I think this would make raiding much easier, especially against th7 and higher bases where three stars can take, sometimes, more than 3 minutes.

Thoughts?

Again, sorry if this is an already "no"-d idea, or has been suggested.

I like the idea, but maybe have it so it depends on who you are facing, not your own the level. There's no need for you to have extra time raiding someone below your level. Not completely sure if that's what you meant though.

Yeah, I agree with this, where the time depends on the enemy level/TH level, not your own.

Do you want raid time increased based on your th lvl or the enemy's? Please make it clear and edit your OP..

I have posted what I'm going to write in a suggestion made sometime ago, requesting an increased battle time for higher leveled enemy THs...

Higher levels TH means more buildings, more hitpoints if the structures are all built and upgraded. The sole reason for hp increase is to make it so enemies will take LONGER to finish of your entire base. Since upgrading and building takes resources, time and patience, why would you want to penalize players who upgrades?

If you're using a lot of giants and healers, its only logical you could not finish a base of equal level with your army. Giants (and golems) have horrible DPS with extremely high amount of hitpoints, they are meant to be tanks, not the main bulk of your army when you want to take on an equal opponent, and healers take a lot of space with 0 dps.

Try using more high dps troops in your setup, such as goblins, wizards, archers and even barbarians. The game is balanced perfectly with the time allowed for raids, if you have surviving troops when the timer runs out, your army lacks the needed dps or you might have gotten unlucky with traps/cc/splash defense which killed most of your dps troops early...

The fact that your troops get better as you face higher townhalls takes away the need for more time. Better troops can destroy buildings faster.

Even most TH10 can attack in the given time, sometimes less than 10 seconds off. That increase in time def isnt needed
