SuperCell, this is getting Ridiculous.

If your SO tired of hogs crushing you, you have three options.

1. Stop being lazy and find a anti-hog base to use.

2. Ask for help from others on the forums to help you with your base searching adventure.

3. Find a new game and stop complaining about the same problems many people have already complained about.


We all have those days of the extremely frustrating hog defenses, trust me. It's not just you. :)

I'm a TH9 and I can do the same to you with 30 hogs and 4 heal spells I expect.
It's nothing to do with TH10s, it's all about hogs being strong, and your base not being effective against them.

I used to use hogs myself, around 2200 cups, and yeah I was looking for bases that were not well setup to counter hogs, and had loads of loot... these bases are super easy to beat once you get the hang of it. But most strong TH9 I see now are in Clan Wars, and loads of them are really hard to hog, so I skip them and attack something different - same deal, if I was still farming TH9.

My TH10 is anti-hog, in Masters, and still gets hogged from time to time, especially when I'm upgrading an inferno and have loads of DE. More often than not, the few attackers I get visiting, get 1 star, and a share of my loot. No biggie, I am typically gettiing more in one raid, than I lose in one defense. My point being, infernos will help stop your base getting trashed, but it's only part of the equation, it also depends on how much loot you have and what trophy range you are in, in terms of who will find your base an attractive hit.

As mentioned earlier, the best way to avoid getting trashed all the time while maxing your TH9 is to stay out of the TH10 farming hot-spots, i.e. somewhere mid-Gold is probably best. And don't try and hoard all three resources - e.g. if you are hoarding gold for a big upgrade, keep your DE and elixer right down, etc..

TH9's can actually defend against hogs even with your high leveled defenses which I am also in the same boat with. All you really need is an anti-hog base with great giant bomb placement, and/or have a hogger who does not know the proper mechanics on how to raid. Even with an anti-hog base, I can keep skilled attackers with hogs at a 1 star unless​ they carry a freeze spell in their composition.
