Clan Wars

Is there a purpose behind searching for Clan Wars if regardless if you select it or not if a clan matches yours you are forced into a clan war. I feel clan wars doesn't give you the time to farm and upgrade. Would like to take a break from clan wars to be able to do that. Search feature if not used should not force you to be matched up if another clan is searching and finds you a equal match. Comments?

Don't initiate the search if you don't want to war! That's the whole point, why wouldn't it start a war when a match is found? If you don't want to war, don't initiate the friggin search!!!
