Mystery boxing through next 100 farms gave us:
1674 coins

3 green vouchers
1 bolt
1 panel
so I think we see a pattern of about 1 item for every 9- 12 boxes ON AVERAGE :)
It's been a long time since I've tried Cricks' trick, so after seeing this thread, decided to give it a go.
i have 225 neighbors and 6 followers (don't get out much, lol). I didn't keep track of how long it took, but let's just say I was having fun looking around the farms, and if I had to guess, I'd say it took me an hour while also visiting my own farm from time to time.
My haul:
3 green vouchers
1 pink voucher
1 gold voucher
5 x 1,000+ coins
1 duck tape
1 wood panels
3 x 5 diamonds
not bad at all.
When I read this thread this morning at work, I realized that I have been so caught up in trying to master my machines, level up, etc., etc., that I had pretty much forgot all about using cricks' trick. Many, many levels ago I use to do this all the time and I'm not really sure when I stopped:confused:....so I decided that I would give it a try again tonight. I forgot how addicting trying to open those mystery boxes could be;). I'm not sure how long it took me and I did not go through all of my neighbors on my friends list....actually I kept going back to quite a few where it was easy to find the boxes.
I went to 215 farms and this was my haul....
4x $1430
2x shovel
2x TNT
2x 5 diamonds
1 screw
1 nail
1 saw
1 blue voucher
1 green voucher
I will definitely have to visit all my friends (440 GC + 5 FB) followers (14) and see what I come up with.:)
Went through around 160 odd farms last night - about an hour and a half in between farming my farm:)

As discussed in Cricks post and here, this works!!! It is simpler, IMO, if you do "Gregging"
Here is what I posted in the past....with minor changes to make it clearer.
From a recent post, I have tweaked it and only go to Greg's farm. With Greg farm, as a player, I know the few places in which the toolbox appears and I think it saves me time compared to going to all my neighbor's farm. Also, in the iPad the friends tap stays open and so what I do is click on the box, and when it does not open I click on Greg's avatar twice to recycle his farm and the box reappears nearby. I continue this until the box opens.
In terms of how often the box actually opens, as Cricks mentioned, it varies. So, I decided to do some counting for a period of 15 minutes (7:47 - 8:02). Here are my results:
Greg's farm, tried the box trick 10 times got a duct tape
Went back to my farm harvested corn, picked lobsters from water, browsed DD
Greg's farm, tried the box trick 50 times got a green voucher (yeah, this one almost made me give up)
Went back to my farm harvested wheat & corn and put items in RSS
Greg's farm, tried the box trick 2 times got a duct tape
Went back to my farm harvested soy beans & wheat
Greg's farm, tried the box trick 36 times got a saw
Went back to my farm harvested wheat, corn, and carrots
In my farm there was a box, clicked on it and it gave me coins
Greg's farm, tried the box trick 3 times and got green voucher
Went back to my farm and put one chicken feed to be made in the mill (crops were not grown)
Greg's farm, tried the box trick 5 times and got a TNT
Go...give it a try.

Had to stop at that point to go to work. :) I will say that I started about 7:05 a.m. and it took maybe about 50 tries before I got an opened box...after that they seemed to open more frequently...so my haul this morning was in the last half of my tries.
Ha! Love it! Did cricks/Greg and after about 15 fast try's I got a much needed blue voucher! Iam definitely going to add this to my repertoire of things todo when bored/ waiting:)
