I miss understood, i thought it meant like which one do you want nobody to have so i said inferno tower, now id go with cannons, archer towers shoot air and cover more range i believe
Why? Every defense counts. And do traps count, they are in defense section. If, so bombs.
If traps count, normal bombs. If they don't, inferno towers (as I currently don't have any)

Cannon, even if it's quite useful...
I'd said walls because they make it harder for me to farm towers as people put their extra gold on walls and most people use air or hogs at my range :) but yeah walls arent the worst defence XD anyhow as tower I would say xbow is the worst one if set on ground air besides the hp, it deals less damage then archer towers with the same range and cost elixir to reload while also cost alot to upgrade :) as ground only it's quite a bit better then cannons though!! The hp is probably the big buff with xbows
Id say xbow because you only have three of them, wouldnt be as big of a difference as if i took away all my six cannons.

my answer is according to the defense disadvantages
at the end all defenses complete each other but if you imagine a base with all defenses there
taking the teslas from it will cause small change wont effect it a lot.
I would say cannon because high lvl teslas can really disrupt an attack. Save the teslas, ditch the cannons!
X-Bows, since i only have two of them. 5 Cannons or 6 Archer Towers would be a huge loss of DPS.
I'd prefer to have more rather than losing one.
Every defense has it's place, while cannons are probably the least useful, not that I am saying that when one is pounding a hero trying to break a wall for the last percentage point to win.
I'd rather ditch the mortars, disco infernos annihilate tier 1 troops faster then mortars, and they shoot air targets too!
cannon all is better, at is closest but can shoot air and 1 more block range..

Clan castle since I rarely request troops and when I do I use clan castle troops to attack.
You know that cannons have more damage than archer towers? If u dont have cannons, yer base would lose every single time a person attacks u.

Without clan castle you can't use the troops in the nonexistent clan castle to attack...
edit: chose cannons, because why not? Archer towers are cannons, but they have longer range and attack air

If I was a maxed town hall 10, then I would vote xbows simply because their damage is too low.

Technically small bombs are traps, so I would pick that.
Per the poll though cannon. Attacks ground only, single target for 9 tiles.
Not that I dislike them; they are extremely valuable. Just others a little bit more valuable and versatile.
You don't understand what damage per second means, otherwise you'd know that it doesn't matter that cannon shoots faster because it's doing less damage each shot than the archer tower. Archer tower and cannon does the same DPS. Archer tower also has longer range and can attack air targets.
I picked infernos because I don't have them. If I did I would say cannons.

Are by far the most useless defences as from TH9 since all attacks are hogs or loonians.
Or giant healers that don't even get a scratch from a mortar lol
