While they reserve the right, i still think it is their responsibility to ensure that the do's and don'ts of the game is clearly spelt out so that players can understand.
How many of these threads have we seen in the past? Countless. And it will continue on as long as this ambiguity is not formally addressed.
Personally i prefer things to be clear cut, not allowing for loopholes, especially when it comes to rules.
people moaning abouts alts when there are people thosting etc on yt and not getting banned....
It's all the same thing, it all boils down to the way SC enforces the rules.
Ghosting, revenge cheap shields, eye-mod, jailbroken devices, and multiple accs, all these are ToS violations that had been around since day 1 of Clash, also advertised on youtube.
Actions taken? Only the cheap sheild was adressed, and that also was only when it reach a point beyond salvation, just look at the trophy inflation that we have at the top now. Past cheap shielding definitely played a part and it is now irreversible.
If SC is taking the same approach towards other violations, it won't really affect individual play, but you can forget any hopes of actually competing with other players or clans because of two simple words, unfair advantage.
Well you say that, but I still see people claiming it's one account per device.
As far as whether youtubers should be banned. Are you kidding ? Is this a joke? It's Supercelks business. Not ours. It's not like people posting vids are getting an advantage in the game.
The thread starter and anyone who thinks like him have some serious hall monitor issues. People who stuck thier noses in where it's not asked for or wanted.
I mean, show me where supercell asked players to monitor YouTube to help bust alt accounts. Show me. I'll wait.
People who don't mind thier own business are either mad about their own impotentcy in real life in regards to power or just like making trouble for others.
What if SC puts these things in the ToS just to prevent from everyone doing it. If they really really cared about this issue than these accounts would be banned, however it seems as though this is not as big of a problem to them. If there is the possibility of people using their multiple accounts to do bad then SC can ban them and say it was in their ToS. The banned person has no argument because if they would have read the ToS they would have known they could get banned. However those who use their second accounts for self and others entertainment/education then SC has no reason to ban them. Especially since their are so many people with multiple accounts. The ToS gives SC the ABILITY to ban people who violate them. It doesn't necisarily mean that they are going to.
Sort of like graffiti. Some people make really cool spray paint art on secluded and or abandoned buildings. No one is going to hunt them down because either no one sees it or it looks really cool. Now if someone write offensive things on a business or a school then there is a reason for the authorities to find those people. Both cases are illegal however one isnot worth it for anyone to care. Same goes for SC. If they were to ban everyone who has a second account they would cause a public outroar but it would also be a lot of unnecisary work. I do agree however that if someone is abusing their second account in anyway and it is brought to the attention of SC then they should ban that player.
In the end SC is their own company and they can decide how literly and harshly they want to infrce their rules.
