Top Youtubers Violating SuperCell TOS

Just reading back, I think this is a healthy discussion to have.

You have to bear in mind though SC is a REALLY friendly and fair company they are not there to catch people up on technicalities. They certainly don't have the man power to go out and hunt down people having multiple accounts, it's not good business besides anything else. The TOS are the TOS but it is up to them to enforce them if they feel it is appropriate - this isn't criminal law it's a private agreement we all make.

Same with YT - we use their game footage technically they own IPR and if they wanted they could close us all down, they never would as long as we support the community with positive helpful content and don't do anything to harm their business - offering ways to scam people out of their accounts etc would be harmful and i'm sure they do stuff to deal with it.

Minecraft showed the gaming world how to engage with you tubers and i'm glad SC followed suit.

I know SC is actively looking for ways to engage better with the community, Marika is working away this weekend finding ideas to bring back to help us all - personally i'd love to go to a Clashfest for example :)

Anyway i'm going off topic - the TOS are SC's property and it's up to them what they do with them.

Yes, but you should add that people claiming Supercell does not enforce this rule because the other accounts are on different devices is simply ♥♥.

I don't tend to regard people's opinions in that way to be honest.

Having spent a few days with them honestly SC are not like big corporations they are small groups of nice people in each cell who want the best for their players and everything they do is focused on that.

I gotta admit for all the ♥♥♥♥♥ing I do this game is one if the best I've ever played and they've kept coming with the upgrades which tells me they care. Sure it helps they got rich lol, but they do seen to care.

So stop whining OP. They can do what they want and 99% if the time they are fair and cool. Now if they would just un-nerf the loot.........

TOS's aren't something you can "interpret" tge way you'd like so it fits your wants. You either agree or you don't. You don't get to assume or imply. Try defending yourself in court like that and see where it gets you.

Ps the arguement was not about what the TOS say (we can all read) people were arguing if the youtubers should (or will) be banned because of this.

While i agree with you that what you said is exactly how SC enforces things, i can't accept it.

How does SC expect players to play fair when there exist such a situation where some ToS are enforced in a heartbeat, while some are not bothered with at all?

How do players know which ToS can be violated and which ones can't.

I suggest the following based on different situations:
1) if SC has no intention to enforce the multiple accounts ToS, take it down.

2) if SC do have the intention of enforcing the multiple accounts ToS in the future when there occurs a situation where the violation gets out of hand, then the forums should not send the wrong message that it is OK to violate that ToS.

What people are forgetting is the wording of the consequences. "Supercell reserves the right" This means they can do whatever they want.

Anything better to do than to overanalyse every single thing?
