How much gold do you get per raid and how many raids do you do per day (average day). For me i am farming level 8 walls. I might get 4 per day. In your case it always seems harder but you will get used to it. It took me about a month to get lvl 7. That is getting 200k per raid.
For me at TH7 it took me a month of casual farming attacking only like 6 times a day to get all lvl7 walls, if I farmed them at my current rate I'd probably do them in maybe two weeks, maybe less.
Could take you anywhere from 2days to over a year

Lvl 7 walls look really awesome, I'm probably never getting better ones because of that. They took me a month of VERY casual farming.
