More gold than elixer?

Im sure every seasond player comes across with the same problem why do we always have empty elixer storages but full gold storages? Plz give me some answers :rolleyes:

Yeah it is more likely you end up with full storages of elixir but no gold at all :D

I'm a L92 TH9 (visited Tassie when I was really young, remembered loving the change in atmosphere :p) but yeah, at TH9 walls start getting really expensive: 1m gold each for L9 and 3m gold each for L10 walls, and with 250 walls in total, you can just imagine how costly they are in terms of gold. On the other hand, there's not really much to spend elixir on so many people at this stage end up with full elixir storages
