TH8 Upgrade Log & Is upgrading tesla worth it?

The main two purpose of this thread is for you guys to see my upgrade logs and IS hidden tesla worth upgrading despite the cost and the massive upgrade time.

By upgrade log, I mean; I shall put up a table saying what what each levels are and how long the next upgrade will talk.

Some people will say what the hell is the point of all this, I really don't know. I doubt this is going to be helpful to people, but I really like to put up a log and see how I've been going. And you wonderful people can criticise me and make fun of me all you want, but please do give me some tips at the end.

Part 1:

"IS UPGRADING THE HIDDEN TESLA WORTH IT?"

I'm asking you guys this because. Just from level 1 to level 2, it takes 1.25 MIL gold and 4 days to upgrade. The upgrade cost really doesn't seem to much, but the upgrade time is huge for just from 1 to 2.

Post what you feel about hidden tesla and whether I should. Maybe Part 2 will help u deciding whether I should or not.

Part 2: LOG

When i start DE farming, I will upgrade my DE drill to level 3. Army camp and barracks aren't really crucial to me right now. Troop and Spell upgrades are my first prioritised elixir upgrades right now.

Dark Elixir:
Barbarian King: Level 4 (UPG)
Minions: Level 1
Hogs: Level 1

Once I've got my barb king to level 5. I'll start with minions and get them to level 3. And then hogs. :)

To Do List: (Only the next 3 upgrades on the road)

Gold:
- Wizard towers to level 6.
- Air defence to level 5.
- WALLSSSS!!

Atleast one Hidden tesla will always be under upgrade no matter what the order is. If none is upgrading, the tesla will be given first priority over the others. This is because tesla's take the longest to upgrade and I can easily finish other defences in order by that time.

Elixir:
- Rage Spell to level 4
- Dragon to level 3

So comment below telling what I should upgrade next and how I should be prioritising my upgrades. :)
I will post below a log, that will keep me updated on what upgrade has been started and what has been finished.

1. If i find any raids with huge amounts. I'll post it here to make the thread a little more interesting :P
2. If you want, post your base screenshots so we can "extract" knowledge from it for strategical placement of teslas. If lots of people like it, i will add it to the OP thread with acknowledgement of the owner.

- Archer tower upgrade started.
- Barb king upgrade to level 4 started.

15 May
- #2 and #3 HT upgrade to level 3 finished.
- #2 and #3 Archer tower upgrade started.
- Dark Elixir Drill upgrade started
- Archer tower finished to level 9.

16 May
- Barbarian King to level 4.
- Wallbreaker to level 5 finished.
- Lightning Spell upgrade started to level 4.

17 May
- #1 HT upgrade to level 4 started.

18 May
- DE Drill upgraded to level 3. (MAX)
- Archer tower upgraded to level 9.
- Clan Castle upgrade to level 4 started. (Since all of you insisted on it :D )

After exam log:

19 May - 27 May:
1. Hidden tesla to level 4 done.
2. Heal Spell upgrade finished and Barbarian level 5 started
3. Got more walls to level 7
4. Air defence to level 3 started and finished
5. Air defence to level 4 started.
6. Last wizard to level 5 started and finished.
7. 2nd Hidden tesla to level 4 started.
8. Barb King to level 5 started and finished

Had same prob as u. Was debating whether to upgrade those teslas or not but i went ahead w them anyway. At lv 5, they have 75 dmg. Almost as good as a mini xbow for th8 and trust me, u need all the fire power u can get at th8. Upgraded all my teslas to lv 5 and never regretted. :D sure it may tk long but trust me. Its worth ur time.

Lvl6-7 teslas are beast and if u start them now during upgrades the time wont bother u and it gives u time to do walls and the tesla from being on of the most expensive at town hall 8 becomes one of the cheapest at th9

Tesla are incredibly powerful, it should be a no brainer to upgrade them.

Max teslas as soon as possible !!!! They will short circuit attacks over and over lol

Ok then, next upgrades will be focused all on teslas :)
@MattCoC, hahah, i really had no idea whether i should or not because as far as i've seen, teslas didn't seem to alter the defence result at the end very much.

at TH8 you should have 25 CC troops, so upgrade this castle ASAP :cool:
and next you should do the wizards.

It depends on your base - if you make a base with strategic placement of teslas, then it can modify a defense result.

Upgrading my CC will be one of my last gold upgrades since i'm really content with 20 troops and that 1.8m gold can be used on my defences.

The teslas are in a triangulated shape around my town hall and are in reach with each other. I'll upgrade them to level 3 and see if they made a difference, otherwise I will change my base layout.
