Without a doubt, start farming from minute one of the game...when I started playing farming was a barely discussed concept and I didn't clue into it for a few (very wasted from a progress perspective) months :rolleyes:
I'm with you about the gems at the beginning. I had never played this type of game before and I wasted precious gems. :(

Yeah, I'd farm right from day one, and I'd upgrade everything (walls included before upgrading my TH
I'd do what I did with boom beach and delete it after a week.
I would be far smarter and not rush to TH9 like I did. I managed to fix myself up thankfully because it wasn't THAT bad but I don't remember anything before pink walls as a TH9....*shudder* the horrors:eek:
farm efficiently from the beginning. I would also find a clan that helped me. I was in a clan with real life friends, and while it was fun, I eventually left. 2 weeks outside of that clan i realized that it was the blind leading the blind and no one really knew what they were talking about in that clan. I would find a good clan with experienced people that had similar interests.

Yep, I would definetly farm all the way.
Farm, farm, farm. Know what a decent base looked like to actually defend my resources. Also would know what good advice in this game actually looked like as opposed to listening to people who thought they knew.
Start farming, not waste gems, find a good clan ASAP
i would concentrate on elixer upgrades and rush th whenver i ran out of elixer upgrades till th9. After, i would still max everything.
5 Builder huts, right away
I would keep a stone on the map cause it's cool :P.
And I'd also keep one wall of each, just for fun. I used to think I could do it as a TH10, until I remembered you don't get any new walls...
I wouldn't build my base in a corner, thinking attackers couldn't spawn troops on the outsides of the map (jeez I was stupid).

I started raiding on my 8th day in this game. I'm so noob back then. @topic I'd definitely start raiding if ever.
I'm an extremely strategizing person. I rushed to th7 at level 50 and maxed it before going to th8. I am currently finishing up de troops for th8 and walls. Nearly finished :D
On my 2nd account I instantly changed my language to Norsk bcz there are almost no good players at 200 trophies. I got a lot of loot from collectors tho.
