Tell Everyone about the Biggest Idiot(s) in Your Clan

Feel free to post stories about the incompetent shenanigans in your clan when warring.

One person went to war with a barch army and said, "Didn't realize I had my farming army." The same person then didn't lure the CC full of wizards when using ballonions, got raped, and didn't get any stars. Didn't even use a full army, only used ~130/200 troops as a TH8.

I don't even know why this person volunteered to be in a full-time war clan. There are other clans in our clan family that war less often.

There's this other guy who refuses to do anything but barch. 'I don't know how to use dragons. I sucked the last time I used them.' Good job. I'm sure you'll get better at using dragons since you never use them. In the meantime, thanks for your one-star contribution times two.

I actually don't say anything in clan chat. That's why I came here to rant about it but didn't mention any names.

I have a spreadsheet to track stars per attack and I can tell you that some people are beyond help. I've tried but they refuse to listen. One guy we have had only managed one star in five wars. I've seen some stupid things for sure. Had one guy throw a jump spell in front of two hogs. Another threw out a couple of archers 6 minutes before the end of a war (we'd won with ease) just to say he used his attacks. We trimmed the fat to 40 folks we thought would play regularly but 10 of them average less than 1 star per attack.

You can't fix apathy. I've preached for hours and some folks just don't care that their actions effect others.

Just going to put this out:

One member has failed to win a star in 3 wars. Including all his attacks.


Someone failed twice to get a star, And yet the townhall was only protected by a few walls and to the side.. Someone even lost to a farming base, well 3 starred only just, Thanks to a level 1 or two archer that sniped the last building in time.

You are lucky already. There is a th level 10，level 93 in my clan，who couldnt even get a star when attack th 7，because he wont listen to any advise，always send in all troops before lure out enemy reinforce，resulting get kill by wizards。8 wars（16 battle） zero star so far， isn't it great？（he do donate though）

At least he's good for something...

dude in my clan got a grand total of 5% on a base with a full out hog attack, another dude same thing got 7%

Well, just to show I'm not perfect, I'll share a story where I got one star with an exposed TH.

I built an army consisting of six pekkas and some wizards. I deployed all the pekkas in basically the same spot near the exposed TH. Right next to the TH was the CC. "I don't have to lure the clan castle. These pekkas are invincible!"

Well about five seconds later, the wizards in the CC ripped up all of my pekkas and I had to deploy my clan castle. I think I got around 25% and just one star. I've only tried pekkas one time since, waiting for them to upgrade. :p

This one guy in my clan attacked the top player in the other clan. This guy he was attacking had level 40 heroes, maxed defenses, and level 10 walls. He goes in to attack with GoWiWi and starts to lure the heroes to a corner then realizes he doesn't have his CC of witches to take out the maxed heroes. He got 5%....


That guy was me.

Well... I had just seen Tyreal video on not being afraid to fail. So I had the bright idea to take on a double gb with hogs. It was a th9 and I had a heal down, so I thought they would ALMOST die... I was wrong... Lesson learned.

A guy from another clan failed to get 1 star on one of our th8 with an army of max dragons. I'm not sure how as it still confuses me.

I am trying to help my members but some just seem hopeless.
I know everyone has bad attacks but one guy seems tk be getting worse....last war he had two 0%'s...as a th7 attacking th6's.
Thats his third time with a 0%. I dont know how to help him :(

I had a new guy recently (TH8) pretty sold attack in CW's. After watching his replay (1 star 85%) I comment in the chat, "Dude, where were your spells?" His replay was "They are too expensive......" I wanted to punch a baby i was so frustrated.

This is the stuff I'm talking about. Is there an elixir shortage that I don't know about?

I take a look at some bases of my clan mates and they've only got one barracks at level 9 and the others are at 7 and 8 as a TH8. It's like they're not even trying.

One guy in are clan started his attack by dropping a freeze spell on their core immediately. By the time he dropped his troops the spell had worn off :( he must of though it was permanent:(

Not an idiot story just an humorous oops. My husband in our last war accidentally hit surrender when trying to deploy his troops. He then tried to cancel and hit ok. He was well on his way to a 3 star but only got one star. He did a total face palm and apologized to the clan. We all razzed him a little and laughed it off. We all have our moments. :cool:

Have to remember kids play as well, you can pickup on it in their bases and stuff, I found the best thing do in our clan is communicate. Not every member is a chatter box in our clan feed, but every member talks when they need to. I'm TH10 and just recently got pekka because my clanmates kept ragging on me. I never use them though, and do just fine.

It's ok, buddy. One day, they will see the light...maybe.

Our clan has pretty weak offense all around. I keep trying to help, but everyone is super slow to respond with action. One of our worst is a TH9 who always goes down at least 5-10 spots to attack TH7. He is averaging about 1.2 stars per war. He is the clan leader.

I posted during our last war that we were paying dearly for not luring the CC and heroes. We were getting 0,1 and occasional 2 stars where we should get 2-3 easily. The other clan was about the same, but they had less attacks, so we won. Immediately, the wife of the leader came on the chat, and told everyone that they were doing just fine, and didn't need to change anything. I'm hoping we get smoked in the next war.

I kicked out anyone who didnt lure the cc in wars and also i m so tired to hear the excuse "i forgot it" when they left TH out of their walls. So this cw thing made me kick out around 40-50 noobs in total.

In our last war, I attacked the other clan's top player, who was a completely maxed out TH 10 (Besides some walls. He had a core of lvl 11, and the rest lvl 10; He also had lvl 40 Heroes) using Balloonions because he had both Infernos on Single Target, all 3 X-Bows facing down, and only some Archer Towers and Wizard Towers in my way. I thought I could get 2 stars, but I lost at 49%!!! :(

Not to mention, I'm only a TH 9. Lesson learned :p

On record our second best player attacked a base with his first attack with only his Hero's. He managed to snipe the town hall then quit with the rest of the base sitting there.
When I threatened to kick him for it, his mother (also a player in our clan) started standing up for him and refused to join in the rest of the war. Needless to say both plus the rest of his family soon got kicked.

i have a feeling this will become a flaming thread...........

once the leader of my clan lost BOTH of the attacks in the clan war, and that's not all, BOTH the people he raided had their town hall OUTSIDE! ROFL!:p

We have a great Th10 member who donates all the time and is very nice. Somehow he has a masters III badge and for the longest time I assumed he had to be pretty good.

Clan Wars has revealed that this person struggles with Th10 maxed troops to 2 star a Th8 player. Honestly I cringe when I watch his replays. I don't say anything because he is a good member but a very poor attacker.

One battle he used a jump spell before clearing the outside buildings, his Valks/Wizards just ran right past the spell alongside the base.

He frequently uses hogs without the heal spell.

.... his deploy is just awful. Honestly I want to train him or something.

Same.... Clan wars is exposing everyone. Great opportunity for clans to teach/share. Just imagine if your entire battle log record in COC was on display for your clan at anytime. EEEK Right now you only see what they share in replay's.

Someone was donating archers lvl 3 not reading the donation and donating wb somtimes so i had to make 72 wiz and 12 drag to donate.

and ofc kicked him out


but what makes me laugh is those kinds of clan mates that says lets do cw then they either leave the clan or don t attack at all ♥♥♥♥ . If i was the clan leader i would kick anyone that got less then 3 star.(per 2 battle)

one guy in my clan attacked a player that had been 3 starred already because "he called that". he got 0 stars...(note:he did call him, over 15 hours beforehand. that's a bit of a time stretch)

another guy used 21 barbs for his attack. im gona have to assume he dced, but he deployed them in a long line, like he was going for 50% with barch.fail

we have 1 guy who's th7, he attacked a strong th9 with his th outside bcause "he needed loot". this was in a war that we were the weaker clan, and were loosing by a nice amount. big help, and he will get a bunch of loots im sure.

1 guy reattacked a base that was 1 starred, even though there were unattacked bases above and below this guy because "he was the recommened target".


the point is, you cant fix stupid. you can teach specifics (LURE CC AND HEROES!!) but they'll find a way to screw up.

Yeah, some people are awful attackers.

All those collector-farmers...

We have now fought 10 wars and finally some of them understand that it makes sense to lure out the cc troops at the begining of a raid.

Some of them do get better, some are still bad.

But we have numerous good attackers in our clan as well, so that we have been able to win 6 wars by now.
And we just keep giving advice to those that lack attacking skills, so eventually they will get better.

Got so mad when a clanie attacked with gobblins like 30 of them, that I called him stupid, he left the clan a couple days embarrased, do I went after him and asked for forgiveness, I truly felt bad, he's a newbie , luckily he came back and noe I'm showing him how to be a better p,Ayer, good stuff.

Here's my fail. I was attacking a guy. As usual ,I lured his heroes and CC troops out and finished them, then I deployed my hogs. I didn't know there was still 1 wizard left in his CC, and all of my troops got demolished.

Some of my clanmates forget to lure CC troops from times to times (or fail to lure everything in the CC), no matter how many inbox and message i gave out, they won't listen, pretty weird.

Lots of fail in my clan, but that's alright, we are all getting better. Thanks Clan Wars.

The biggest fail was a big juicy TH9 had his townhall sitting outside the wall. The first TH7 goes in for a free star and finds every trap and maxed tesla waiting for him; not to mention the fact that the townhall was fully defended by several defenses on the other side of the wall, a barbarian king in range, and a CC full of level 6 wizards. No matter how much I posted in chat and clan mail, the scrubs in my league must of all suicided on that guy like 10 times that war. I was pulling my hair out.

I was using balloonion strategy and my clanmates also wanted to use it except they didn't know how to. They would also forget to lure out CC troops so basically they would start the raid and bunch up 30 balloons followed by 20 minions. the balloons would get zapped by the wizards and the minions would salvage their way to 10%.

lol I rember dat. it was so close, oh well u did pretty good, especially for a TH9. I wouldn't have gotten even 30% lol, but I only have lvl 5 loons and left 4 minions and lvl 10 king...

there was another time, I thought I trained my spells the previous night, but I guess I forgot and I wake up in the morning and I get mad. I had school, so I could only attack once. I gemmed a lightning spell and only ended up getting 2 stars:mad:

that's like the trillionth time where just 30 more secs in battle would've helped me.

i cant think of any idiots in my clan at the moment, so ill say idiots from some enemy clans.
i was a lv 5 town hall and lv 31 at the clan war. at least 6 people raided me and got 0 stars (including some people who had minions) and 2 people raided and got 1 star and finally the best person in their whole clan had to raid me and get 3 stars (he was lv 9 town hall btw)

One of our members decided to take on a strong th8. He used batch to get cc and king out. All that were left were 3 lvl6 wizards... He placed 9 lvl3 dragons to take them out. Wiz kill all nine cuz they in same spot. He get 0% and wastes over 400k elix

I actually didn't lure the cc because I'm a Jump user with GoWiWi. Was gonna freeze them on the IT and light the witches allowing the wizards to pull my heroes to the core. But other than that yeah....exactly. I'll post a pic of the guys base.

I was gonna clear the top sides after luring the heroes then jump through the top but I failed the lure with only 2 witches and no CC troops.

Dang did u use a hog to get heroes out? And I understand freezing cc. Was confused for a sec cuz I haven't ever seen a frozen hero. Still smart tho

I did a major hog raid vs a low th8. Used barbs and king to take care of cc. Then placed all hogs. Forgot the guy had a barbs king:(. I got 32%

Did a hog base on an anti-hog base with lvl 2 hogs against a mass trap filled giant bomb invested base and was stupid with heal spells

Yeah, I've hit harder bases but that right there was my ultimate noob clan wars failure moment.

I have definitely seen worse, but you did make a mistake about forgetting cc.

...no flame thread for sure, of course it's the same difficulties around the clash world, but it's sort of comforting to know one is not alone...
Yeah, I've been pulling my hair out at L3 giants in my cwc....for the forth consecutive war ! (yeah, I know I could do worse, but still four times in a row, ugh!)
I'm starting to get bald for all the times the CC wasn't lured or someone just didn't realise that there would've been a replay to watch
....and then post 'I didn't know there was a dragon in the CC' ;-)
But I've bished up myself real often, and even before CW I haven't been afraid to share fails, also helps for clan morale.
Last war I forgot to check the giant bombs and lost my hero-swat team because of that, had to deploy my BK and then panicked and because of that forgot to keep back a couple of hogs instead. In the end the base was beaten, my AQ was shooting walls and my hogs made the victory lap around the centered TH while time ticked away....90% one star. LOL.

It was all because my CC was upgrading :( . Since it had the upgrade time above it there wasn't a 'full' or 'request' bubble.

On the ranking of bases in cw, my base is seen as one if the lowest (th 9 lvl 102), I always try my best in getting stars and not sniping th, but as for my clan mates having often trouble with an easy base, failing twice and getting 0 loot bonus while others get on average 750k of both, getting really frustrated they try to aim lower and lower and still failing.

Oh and you always have that one top guy that refuses to put his th inside no mattter how many times you ask!

There's always gotta be one.

Having trouble with farmers that don't know how to attack and ignore all of your advice? There are three options.
- Don't go to war.
- Kick them or have them kicked.
- Deal with it, and maybe eventually they'll listen.

There is no other alternative.

Some people in my old clan were using goblins in their clan war raid.... that's the worst I've seen.

We had a new guy in the clan for this war. He forgot to put his TH inside and then sniped two Townhalls, on one occasion he even failed because he triggered the king.
Of course, we booted him, but it was weird to witness how dumb some people can be.

Yes, he was the one who forgot his cc troops. However, his cc was UPGRADING SO HE COULDN'T SEE IF IT WAS FULL. He had a small memory lapse, and messed up the raid. It is COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY for him to ask his clanmates to help him in that situation.

What actually happened was I sent the request as I went to sleep at 4am EST and only the 3 Aussies were on and they didnt have the troops made and my request said 'no hurry goodnight'. It ended up falling out of chat before Canada and the US were awake and on and I didn't check because it was upgrading.

Oh, so it was kind of your fault there, but still you don't need to ask your "mates" for advice when that is your mistake.

We had a member ask for advice on how to attack, we told him Giant, Wallbreakers, Healer, Archers on a low level base. Pretty standard.....

He drops giants one by one til their gone and dead, then wallbreakers blow up one section of wall with the majority of then being destroyed by a mortar, then a healer (with no friggin troops on the field), and then 20 archers in the exact same place where the mortar took out the WBs. Ugh, now I know why this guy doesn't share his replays.

Anyways, in my clan I was on the bus stop doing a mass drag raid. I finished luring clan castle troops and dropped a dragon for townhall. Then some idiot tapped my screen and dumped all my dragons and rage spells on the townhall.
Lesson learnt: don't raid at the bus stop.

^^^^^^^ I am lucky our clan take advise we agree what bases to attack before we start we are lucky as we are only small clan best that way it must be a nightmare for clans with 30 or more players in.
So far we have Won 7 lost 1 the one we lost was due to people away on war day and did not take there goes x4.
we now send messages to confirm all are ok for the attack day save this going on again.
what makes me lol is the top base on other team attacking our lower bases then his lower bases has nothing to attack.

thats the good thing about recording these you get some funny videos.

Fails I've seen in my clan so far:

- not luring cc/king/queen and acting as if they don't exist when they come out
- leaving th and cc outside of base
- raiding with goblins
- raiding without their own cc/not asking for troops before battle
- not using a full army
- sniping th and not going for at least 2 stars
- rage quitting battle
- leaving clan in embarrassment after failing the first battle

At the beginning I tried to help the most inexperienced players, spending 10-20 minutes doing an attack plan. The very next clan war those same players seem to suffer amnesia. After countless reminders through clan messages and chats, I continue seeing the same fails again and again. That's why I said I won't see any more replays, if I did I would have to kick half of my clan.

Most of the people in the clan are really nice, and everybody donates and gets along well. Hoping we lose is the only way I can see for us to wake up to the reality that just being better than bad clans is not a good thing.

Now that we have stopped the madness of perma-war, it is not so bad, and I can handle looking through the replays once a week to offer advice.

Have you ever seen true rushed town halls? like one gay saying he can only donate archers or something because the only high level one is being upgraded? (not in our clan anymore due to not donating) ya some people really have poor planning with barracks but that person you are talking about is not really one of them.

What is the hate with goblians? I use a few, they are nice for trap tigger and getting a ton of collector/ storage packed together.

the eighth highest person in the clan we just battled only got 3% on our lowest leveled base. CC troops are the best!

Perfect comunication, target chosen, strategy discussed, true - wasn't easy so planned really carefully also what troops for the cc, made espescially for that player and then off to battle, and I'm 'waaaiiit !! you haven't asked for cc troops yet!' but it was too late...simply forgot, those were heavy troops, essential to the plan, needless to say 49%, no star...

Someone just attacked the lowest level person in our clan and got 0 percent. Called in all giants and a healer and my lvl 6 balloons killed em in 11 seconds lol

This is another clan's fail, not mine.

I am the top TH 9 in my clan and I was attacked by a TH 10 with a full on Hog attack, and they got 3%! :o

I found out that I was actually rubbish at attacking when clan wars started. I am still scared of attacking bases with lv5+ walls even though I now have lv3 wall breakers and I only train 4 wizards per attack because they take ages to train and Archers and barbs are wiped out by 1 mortar shot even though they are lv3 all mortars seem to kill loads of them in 1 shot. Once I actually got 0% I seem to remember in an attack I have only got 7 stars in 10 clan wars and I have never got 3 stars I believe

first clan war though, I was a th9 going against a th10 with everything built, well leveled and level 9 walls. I got 49%. :(

whats worse, I could have used my archer queens invisibility power but I forgot to us it, and it would have saved me.

I have a new one:

Some guy left his townhall outside with a transformer base. Then he failed a barch because he had no spells(upgradig factory which is fine but he didn't tell anyone) He was townhall 10 and didn't try the un-3 starred townhall 8. Then he took a free townhall on someone two starred with 15 hours to go. Upon talking to him he expected the clan to carry his weight and for him to do nothing to even change his base for a free 450/450. He got da boot.

An unlureable cc...

Used the usual giant/wallbreaker/hog combo to break the wall and take out the outermost defense...

Success...

Deployed the other 3 giants with wallbreakers to lure out cc...

Success, a bunch of level 6 archers and 5 lvl 6 wizards lured out...

Aggroes the King and Queen and pull them and the cc troops to a safe corner of the map...

Drops CC, barbs, archers, my King, a witch and few wizards to finish them off...

Starts my full scale attack with 30 hogs, 3 heals, 1 rage and 1 freeze prepared...

Progressing good, 39% down, both multi inferno towers out, starts deploying the rest of my troops for cleanup near the cleared areas, plenty of hogs still survive and I still got 1 heal saved.

Suddenly, an arrow flew to my hogs... Followed by a mass of lightning flame blasts... Hogs gone in an instant... My 'cleanup' crew got cleaned up by the Queen and her 2 wizards... Raid ended at 49%...

Lesson: Always make sure the defenders are all killed after painstakingly luring them...

Note: My Queen was in the ICU, being taken cared by one of my builders.

I had had the exact same thing happen to me. There clan castle was in middle of base,had to send in one hog to lure out troops. A bunch of archers came out and I took care of them not even thinking to try and count. Once I sent the rest of my hogs in out came the wizard. It was are last attack and we were down by two it would have been a easy 3 star.

We had a guy in our clan whom we had warned multiple times about sniping high level bases for one star just to get the bonus loot. I 3 starred a TH 9 and minutes later this joker comes in and picks off the TH. Needless to say, he got booted. :p

Hope the loot was worth it...

This is someone from our opponent's clan: this person picked one of our villages that has an totally exposed townhall (we did ask everyone to bring it inside, but apparently not everyone got the message), dropped a few barbarians beside the townhall, started chopping the townhall without any interference from defense buillding. Easy one star, right? This person terminated the raid when the townhall has about half of the hitpoints left, and left the battle without any star.
No sure what is happening.

Why do we have this Button??? this is War play it out till the end. After reading through here i don't feel to bad about the epic learning curve some of our Clan mates had to go through. And I would have loved to hear what leaders were saying to guys who attacked us so bad. Th10 attacks our smallest th5 and gets 2 stars lol. Hello!
