Which do you prefer at an early and late TH 8? Shuriken or Tempest?

Neither, they are too popular and people know the trap spots. Also, I don't know how you came to the conclusion of Tempest from such few replies (even though I'd never base my clash base on other's opinions). Orz would tell you himself that Shuriken may be better for lower to mid TH8 with a bit more resource protection. Tempest is OK for maxing out, but less protection on resources.

Again, these designs are very good, but too popular these days and easy to counter(people know trap spots).

I was really trying to "bump" the thread without just saying bump so I could get more replies. They've only been around a few months, how can they be that popular? I did see where Orz said that. I don't really have a problem with Elixir though, so that's why I figured I would stick with Tempest. The only real attacks I've had, were sniping my Elixir storages.

As of now, I've had more votes for "neither" than for Shuriken. That's why I think I'm going to stick with Tempest. At least through a couple wars. About to finish the first one and no one has dared to attack me. They've actually attacked a couple 9's and 10's instead of me. All of my defenses are still TH7 level too.

They might know them but the troops AI doesn't. Tempest takes full advantage of that.

Well someone finally tried to attack me. Used 40 lvl5 hogs, also had a lvl 10 king and lvl 8 queen. Only managed 1 star. Haha! Sold on the Tempest! Even at my early TH 8 level.
