Are Raspberries rare?

Doesn't anyone sell raspberries? I have plenty of saws but I am low on axes, and since I hate having dead plants around (I have enough of them in my back yard) I have been trying to buy raspberries. We must use more raspberries than blackberries because I always see them in the shops, but rarely a raspberry

No I am not starting a "trade with me" thread, I just want to know if raspberries are rare for anyone else or am I just crazy. Ok ok I know I am crazy. I have the paper work, but more crazy than usual.

I advise my daughter that if she wants to make money sell raspberries!! All those berry smoothies take SO many raspberries and blackberries that I buy as many as I grow, and I guess other people might be the same???
Once that machine is mastered though, as reckon I'll only make them for boat orders - lol!! oh, and don't forget raspberry mochas to master the coffee machine too.

I tend to harvest them only when I need them and therefore only harvest the amount I need so as to minimise axe usage, therefore it's rare for me to sell them. Perhaps I should start selling them though!

I also do the same.
I put away the trees that are revived by someone in a special area dedicated for that purpose. I know that once I collect fruits from trees in that area, I need to cut them.
I collect the fruits when needed only to prevent the silo space problems(though I never got any!) and to let the farm look good with trees/bushes full of fruits.
I collect and cut only if I have barn space problems.

But that doesn't explain why I can find blackberries by the bushel full but not raspberries. Seems like it should be the other way around.

I put almost 50 raspberries in my RSS , they were gone within minutes.

They are definitely rare for me....I needed some this morning and it probably took 20 minutes to find them between the DD and neighbors.

I made my first million by selling blackberries and Cacaos. In other words, these two are planted for money. I grow other fruits as well (apple/cherry/raspberry/coffee etc), but not at large amount, and only harvest when necessary.

Why blackberry? Well, it simply gives much higher profit ($546 per axe) and xp (208 per axe) than raspberry ($388 and xp117 per axe). I'm guessing that's why we see lots of blackberries sold in DD but seldom raspberries. It's all about maths:rolleyes:

Must be due to your luck. I buy raspberries quite often out of the DD just because I don't want to bother with maintaining my fruit bushes/trees. Haven't needed to harvest my emergency reserves for months.
