Ok so I've been trying to win a little lady gnome since I started playing hay day over a year ago. I finally got one yesterday with 25 or 30 vouchers (can't remember which) I put it on my farm, went to my storage to place my little man gnome next to her and she's gone! I've looked everywhere for her, moved all my buildings, decorations etc. she's not in storage either. It looks like she didn't like my farm and has done a runner :-(
Did you check behind the house? I found a gnome there that I had forgotten about.
Yes, I've checked there as I too have lost things behind there. Very odd

I think somewhere a mod said that it can happen when you get disconnected (and maybe reconnected without even knowing/seeing the pop up window) the moment you click on it so it doesn't get updated to the server somehow and the item it lost. I do think the Aunt Hilda theory is funny though so I think I'll go with that to cheer me along in my search for another wife for mr gnome. 😉
Wow. Over a year with no lady gnome? I've been playing five months have have enough lady gnomes to stock a village of gnome polygamists. Seems to be all I get from the mystery packages and wheel of fortune.
P.S. If it's a server glitch...maybe you still have the gift cards, and can try again?

I had that same problem with my BRT. I won it after trying for over an year. I put it on my farm, went back into my storage and then my BRT was gone.:mad: I have been waiting for my BRT to come back home.:(

The most likely scenario is when player has more than 40 gift card in stock and must spend some to collect new gift cards. Player already had a box waiting at the house (event, maintenance, catalog...) and cannot order new package. He/she then opens that box, orders a package, opens the second box, is dancing happily when the big red tractor appears. Suddenly the game reloads.... When player is back to the farm, BRT is most likely gone. That was indeed a MYSTERY package!!!
Chances are it was changed to another decoration item, coins, diamonds or barn items. I know I won't notice the difference in coins but since I placed all my decoration items on the farm, it is easy to spot a new decoration item I did not win before. As for diamonds and barn items, they are from regular mystery packages and not always noticeable for someone who has a big barn or a lot of diamonds.
If anyone gonna test this theory, please post back your experience.
I haven't been playing that long but I saved gift cards because I wanted to get some decorations for my farm. I really wanted to use them as soon as I got 10 but forced myself to wait...and it was HARD!! lol When I finally got 20 I was soooo excited to turn them in! Boy, was I disappointed when my prize was a SAW!
I kept telling myself it was all random and not to give up. The next time I went ahead and turned them in as soon as I got 10. This time my prize was a mallot!
Still trying though. :(

Ok, so I read the whole thread, and it have me optimism, hoping for a cool gift from the box that's been on my front lawn all week.....so I opened it....

I've had it! I'm gonna boycott gift vouchers and stop watering friends plants! Except for when my wife asks me to, of course.
and no more boat order help, either! Except for you know who. She sits right next to me, how could I say no?

Oh yes. I do that, leave them out when I'm low on gift cards or if the prize that is offered is not what I want. I rarely get the mystery toolbox but just had two in a row. Love the way they look :DQuote:
