Good idea :)
I'm not sure,
But why would we need to report them anyway? The reports aren't reviewed by Staff. It's system automatic.
If it's very offensive, screenshot it and send a problem to support with pics. They may take action.
This also had been suggested multiple times, in future please search threads up before you make them.
called kicking them if it is too bad.
Kicked a few that did that and a vulgar name
Just what this game needs, more reporting for the trolls and kiddies to abuse.
I think this has a good idea behind it. I dont like hoppers, but being able to just report them, it seems like a part of the game.
However, i have had on a couple of occasions a person who enters, uses bad language then leaves, then keeps coming back, basically spamming the clan. And there seems to be no way of preventing this. You cant ban people from the clan which would be good.
perhaps people should get a clan record, detailing their previous clans, and how good they have been in them, and a possible reference scheme, where clan leaders can ask each other about members
Just give leader/co-leader option to "ban" a person. Has been suggested before. Would solve a lot of issues.
A bit like the "mute" button in global.
Supercell needs to take this seriously. Foul language is bad enough, but we had someone in our clan asking an 8 year old for ♥♥♥ and asking for his phone number (which he fortunately didn't give). Kicking the person out of the clan is too feeble a response, but that's the only currently available. I assume such behavior is a criminal act in most countries.
Also, when I wanted to report this incident to Supercell, I could find no other option but reporting it on the forums. I guess it's possible to find an email address if I search harder, which I will do if Supercell does not give me a response here on this thread.
I said the word FjUCK and i did not get banned:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
I like the ldea but in the clan it will probably get u kicked
Global is one thing but what goes on inside of a clan is clans business. If you dont like the language then find another clan. For hoppers set to invite only solves the problem right there. Why make a Clan then expect supercell to police what goes on in there. thats what leaders/elders are for. If you not leader find you a Clan with a better one.
Please take a screenshot that shows the username of the player and them asking for the phone number and send it to our Support team. To do so go to the in-game Settings, then tap on Help and Support, Report an Issue and attach the picture to the email, they'll deal with it accordingly. Thanks!
And yes, that's basically how we see clans too. Clans have leaders, co-leaders and elders to help manage the clan, if something turns sour then they have the means to deal with it, either by kicking out or setting it to closed/invite only. Which does not mean that we won't help you with such incidents; you're always more than welcome to reach out to our Support with evidence of inappropriate behavior from a specific user and we'll take measures based on the gravity of the incident. But personally, I would still like to see the option of deleting certain messages, other than just filling the chat with a bunch of random messages until insulting/offensive entries get buried and hidden

oh did u say an eight year old? the following paragraph is quoted directly from the clash of clans description on the appstore
"Please Note! Clash Of Clans is completely free to play, however some game items can also be purchased for real money. If you don't want to use this feature, please disable in-app purchases in your device's settings. Also under our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, you must be at least 13 years of age to download or play Clash Of Clans."
pay attention to the last line.. i know that asking an 8 year old for love is sick, but should he really be playing clash of clans in the first place? maybe supercell put that line in there to make sure that, for example 8 year olds dont get abused by the pedos and other such degenerates.
sorry but what? im sayin that generally people under 13 dont make that good choices and trust random strangers ..sorry for the stereotype but yea.. what i said has nothing to do with the age at which you are allowed to have intercourse..
1.) The rule with 13 years is because of legal restrictions in the USA. I dont think this should be a problem in Europe especially if their parents are in the same clan.
2.) I also think that keeping the clan clean of people that can not behave is the responsibility of the leader. Especially if there is verbal abuse or bad language. I think a clan leader that knows the members can handle these things much better.
3.) I think a good feature would be an option for leaders or elders to mute players in clan chat. In some cases there can be a conflict by long time members instead of kicking everybody because some may be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and search for another clan. Typical situations like these is blaming others for a lost cw, misreading/misunderstanding a message because of missing smileys or an elder banning someone for insulting the base of his second account (the elder didnt know it was his second account) etc.
In some cases there is no leader/co online and a fight is starting. Having elders kicking long time members is not a good idea but muting them should be no problem. In some cases it would also be better to simply stop the conflict quickly to get enough time to read all the last 100 messages.
How can you stop gangs starting offensive language and reporting you so your muted unfair
We did this with a guy over a year ago. He had threatened little kids plus had a history of bragging that he knew how to h.a.c.k. our COC accounts and would always tell us to watch it or he would steal his accounts when admonished. The threat to little kids incident got him kicked. I was offline for the first incident but then when it was being reported to me this guy chimed in that if the kid did not shut up he was going to kill the kids parents before raping and killing him. It was really nasty and I took screen prints and sent, along with kicking him.
After the kick he was back at our clan every day (I mean EVERY) for weeks with a vulgar threat to me or the various kids who turned him or to the whole clan or whatever his daily fancy was. These also included killing, ♥♥♥♥, h.a.c.king and various other things, I took screen shots and sent those in too. But that kid was always still active and still doing it fr a long time. After a few weeks it got to be less than every freaking day and now about a year and a half later it has been a couple months since he last dropped by. My point is he was there all along with no action taken even after numerous reports and screen prints. And this was not borderline stuff. His threats were pretty sick, that kid has a issues if he even thinks of this stuff and I hope in his world he never actually ever acts on it.
So my perspective is that despite all those reassuring words there is actually no follow up. Complaints no matter how well documented just go into the void. Nothing gets done. Not even a well documented case over a longer period of time gets attention.
