I've been thinking of dropping down to sub-200 to farm and i think you have me convinced, how ling does it take to search for a battle?

But another amazing thing about it as someone mentioned on this post is that you will get your Unbreakable 3 star pretty easy.
Why?
Because as soon as you log out you get attacked by so many ppl you can get pushed back even to 1000 trophies(most of the time to like 400-500), because ppl just drop a troop and leave, drop leave, drop leave, (people are constantly drop trophies to get down there) so you wins so many time in such a short period of time.
So when you get down there make sure you have some time to stay online and raid.

i just got back to gold 2 from sub 200 and it was good but kinda boring. it is great for the person with 40 gems, 2 hours, and is ok with attacking strange bases that require no skill whatsoever. i raid, get off for an hour, raid, get off for and hour... so it wasn't worth it for me because i got attacked 20 times and gained a ton of trophies and had to drop down again. if your willing to stay on for long periods of time constantly raiding, Sub-200 is for you. if yor like me and your on and off all day. stick to some higher leagues.

I have been doing well as a TH7 at silver one making about 600,000 an hour. I have lv. 4 archers, giants, goblins, and wall breaker. My clan is pretty active in clan war. Would it be worth it to drop down to sub 200. Also, what army composition? I have 103 pink walls, 71 gold walls, one purple :D. . Thanks
I few have tried this in our clan, but came straight back up saying it was not worth it...
Do you think a town hall 6 could sub 200 farm?! Or maybe a town hall 7. I'm almost ready to go to th 7 but if you have better luck in th 6 then I won't go to th 7 and how many trophies is exactly sub 200??

Looks very convincing, but judging your troops youre a th8. Sub-200 farming is horrible for th9-10. It only works for a th8 and below really which is sad :(

A lot of the loot comes from th6s, so a 9 would have a hard time. I hit 7s, 8s, and 9s when I'm in the mood for a bigger battle by revenging (easy to spot, they use heros to trophy drop).

Which is why I don't attack th8s, 9s, and 10s unless there is great payoff, and never use them for trophy dropping. If you have decent defenses you drift up to 300+ trophies, but don't get a shield until someone wipes you out.Quote:

Sub 200 is so mind numbingly boring! I refuse to go there as a TH10 and wouldn't go there anyways outside of maybe getting some cheap laughs at some bases down there. I don't have fun unless some element of skill is involved in the game. And just using gobs is not fun imo.
The sub 200 is horrible i get off an hour and get lighting spells and my dark elixir like 20 times.
I just dropped down to sub 200 around an hour ago and I can't seem to find any battles close to these! I am TH7 any suggestions what might be wrong??

If storage is exposed (or surrounded by 1 layer of walls) all you need is few giants, wall breakers, bunch of goblins and eventually a healing spell if it is a heavy fire area from all mortars and wizard towers :D
The final straw was when I became that fully loaded th8. I was repeatedly taken for 300k+ resources by giant/gob/wb raids doing less than 40% damage. Leaving me with no shield or armed traps.
Dont get me wrong, I love the basement (though more as a th7). I'll probably take another trip down there some time. But whenever someone in my clan considered joining me down there I always tried to be clear about the trade-offs. It's not all 200k raids against villages with no walls. Sometimes you can go down to zero and find nothing, and then lose big on defense and be pushed up to bronze III. It's refreshing not worry about gaining trophies, but you have to fight to stay low.
Several people in my clan loved it (we had seven down there at one point) but a lot of people drop 1,000+ trophies only to be disappointed, which is tragic. As basement dwellers, it's our responsibility to try to save people that trip if they are going to hate it.

Even if you're a th9 or 10 you can still go there and farm the farmers. There are th9's there and even th10's that have 400-500k of each and at least 1000-2000k DE but pretty decent bases that require real army like giant healer, hogs, balloonions etc.

Yes but for most of those guys.. the loot is well protected ! Ur better off trophy pushing and farming with barbs and archers ! Plus ull also save the headache of going up in trophies from sub 200 back to normal.Quote:

Worked great for me (TH8). Maxed my elixir (3m) fairly quickly and over 2m gold in 2 hours with one rax boosted. There's actually more gold down there than elixir. Don't log off unless you want to get farmed for massive amounts of loot. Once you're done, get those trophies back up as soon as possible.

Most of the time you will have to raid 20-60K Gold and Elixir and eventually you will have tons of loot using very less troops,though every once in a while you will find someone with 150 K + of each resources.If you are active then go down cause the second you go of people will raid you.
Well if the loot is great in gold 1-2 at the moment no point droping, but when loot in gold league gets not that great you can deff give it a try :) I had a lot of fun down below 200 trophies. To find 1 base it usually takes about 10 seconds if you attack every base with 50k+ There are different types of bases you will see down there, farmers, inactive players, abandoned bases etc. I really did get a lot of gold in sub 200. But you will never know until you try :)Quote:
