My th9 buildings will be done by some time in March.
I intend to stay th9 until at least June to finish my troop upgrades. (yes my lab is way behind)
After that I'll decide whether I'll go to th10 or wait a bit longer.
That gives me 3 months to do walls and heroes.
I'm definitely sticking it out.
I've been TH9 since mid December 2014 from a fully maxed TH8 (defenses, walls, heroes, DE upgrades). I've been consistently keeping 1 builder on heroes, 3 builders on buildings, and 1 builder on walls alone, which I have jumped in and out of short upgrades in the beginning. I now completed all of my elixir upgrades but 1 dark barrack level 6, giants level 6, and healer level 4 upgrades, which I don't really need or use now. I'm just about to wrap up my golem 4 upgrade and am putting Valkyries level 3 right in after as I have the DE. Then it is Valks level 4, Lava hound level 2, minions level 5, Hogs level 5, giants and healers to finish the lab up, which is only 3 months time.
My King level 15 is just about to finish and I am starting Queen to level 11 in a day or too since I have the DE as well. For defenses, I have upgraded all the new structures at TH9 to their TH8 max level equivalent and built my xbows. I just started 1 xbow to level 2, 1 wizard tower to level 7, and 1 mortar to level 7. For walls, I currently have 132 skulls, 90 legos, and 28 lavas.
With 35 hero levels total left to go at 1 week upgrade time a piece, I have 9 months until they are maxed, which puts me in October-November time range. At 3 builders for defenses, I have 7 months till they are completed assuming my farming does not slow. So, that gives me 9 months to accumulated the remaining 798,000,000 gold/elixir to complete my walls. That means all of my elixir for 7 months is going straight into troops and walls and also my gold while waiting on builders to free up followed by 2 months of straight gold and elixir into the remaining walls.
I usually boost one or all elixir barracks and play on average 1-3 hours a day.
Im a maxed TH9 and i plan to stay there for a little bit longer farming for my heroes and a couple of walls on the way
i just have Valks Hound and Healer left to upgrade in lab.
