Why FARM???

Pros and Cons of farming:

• If you don't remodel your base before clan wars...BAD
• I don't get the point of it because if you go down leagues you attack worse people with barely any loot. Sure get resources from collectors...Way too long
• Upgrading more stuff and getting better troops!!!
• Attacks cost more to train than to gain loot if you go down leagues
• If you do it the Smart way not the Stupid way you gain resources AND trophies

When farming you can gain a lot more loot through collector raids than when you push, also you can make your base a hybrid to help avoid loss of trophies

I have a perfect base layout for my th8 that requires me to move 6 buildings to go from farming to war mode. I rarely lose loot even if someone doesn't just snipe my the and in war I've only been 3 starred by a 40 maxed hogs raid with full rage and healing spells. Most wars, no one even attacks my base. In have almost all maxed def and about 50 maxed walls.

Are you kidding me? I routinely find weak bases that I sontnhave to use much troops for and walk away with 400k+ in loot. I occassioanlly find the sweet honeyholes that have 600-800k in loot! Definitely worth it.

I don't want to gain trophies, I find the loot above very regularly at around silver 1. And I make a lot of money down there!

Higher leagues require higher troops to win, and you don't guarantee you'll max raid their loot.. At silver 1, I'll be taking every single drop with cheap troops

I used to think exactly like you back then. After i tried farming, it is seriously good. My achievement now is 290 + gold grab and having almost max def TH 8 including walls. Well, my clan doesnt go war all the time. We have monthly basis which is good for me, I mean i can avoid the hassle of keep changing the base layout.

I am farming in silver 1 league using archer, barbarian, gobs, wall breakers combo. Around 40k elixir for troops cost and i can looted mostly 200+k for each gold and elixir per raid. Is the amount too little for u??

Since i used cheap troop, i have my elixir storage alway full (6 million) for about 2 months. And no one seem to raid me for that, they only go for TH. 😄

I win 97% of my farm raids through barching. I've been farming around Silver II, and, trust me, if I wanted to, I could climb to 1300+ trophies in 50 minutes.
Using barch, I gain 6/7 trophies each raid, and I maximize my chance for loot against bases that you couldn't three star with stronger armies.


For me, trophies are only a means to an end, and that end is loot.

If you attack somebody one TH level lower than you, you only get a -10% loot reduction - that's nothing if somebody has full storages. If they are inactive, then their collectors and mines are full, so free 300k each for me. I'm pretty sure that is good loot.

Why do you want to gain trophies if it pushes you up and out of your sweet farming trophy range? Then you can no longer use Barch or BAM or BAG and you also no longer find many collector raids, and you have to deal with inferno towers and you are spending more gold clicking next finding the appropriate base to attack.......... why would you want to do this? Doesn't seem smart to me.
