Why not put your town hall outside your base?

Except during the 1st hour of clan war, I always put my town hall outside my base while I am not playing, and I see not many folks are doing it. I am just wondering why everyone not doing that. There are guys only looking for town halls, so why not just let them have 1000 of your resources plus 10 (maybe? as maximum) trophies? I am sure you will gain more than 10 trophies or resources from a single attack. Moreover, you gain 12 hours of protection. If you put your town hall at the center of your base, you are doing nothing but luring the ones who can just simply crush your base. Any ideas?

It's called farming

I agree that you should put your town hall outside of your base. You will only lose a couple of trophies per raid, and you will keep your resources safe. And yes, a 12 hour shield is given to you! But make sure you have a strong and strategic farming base. Town Hall 7 and 8 are usually the Town Halls that have farming bases. 9 and 10 are defense because their bases are very strong and they might be going for the all star leagues.

I know! I always try to spend everything, and the only thing that is worthy for them to have is my town hall. I am about to upgrading my town hall to lv9.

Why do you only protect your assets when you also can protect your dignity? Creating farm bases will distract you when u going to clan wars

Because some people like to vary between things, some like pushing, I do it to see how my bases are doing against good attacks

Are you even read my post? I said "except 1st hour of clan war." In another way, it means I put it inside my base and take it out after my base is fixed at clan war. I want to protect dignity more than you do. Idiot.
