Mass dragon tips?

I just tried using all dragons for clan wars and it's pretty effective. I was just wondering if anyone had some tips on stuff to avoid or anything else when using all dragons? I just got my rage spell unlocked so I don't use that, instead I use 3 of my lvl 4 lightning spells to take out one air defense and go from there. Can 3 lvl 4 lightning take out a lvl 4 air defense?

I only have lvl 1 dragons and haven't tried any bases that looked that hard yet. I have stayed away from lvl 3 and 4 air defenses but I am wondering if I could take those on? I have a barb king but I haven't used him that effectively with this strategy, he usually just ends up breaking walls amongst a pile of destroyed buildings.

Any tips or any advice for using this strategy would greatly be appreciated.

Yes it can. Even if you just unlocked rage, its better to use those than the lightning. GL! :)

I found rage spells to be more effective when using mass dragon attacks. When you get rage spells to level 3 or so, give them a try.

I try to avoid bases with level 5+ air defenses when I use drags. Also be aware that the difference between th8 and th9 is not just another air defense, but 2 more seeking air mines.

Yeah those things take me out pretty easily now, will keep that in mind.

HI guys I also want some tips about lightning an air defense. I have level 4 lightning. How many level 4 lightning does it take to destroy an air defense level 1,2,3,4?

I throw in 40 archers to clear outside bldgs on the side I will attack and to kill cc troops. Surprisingly, I can often take out 1, or very rarely, 2 ad's. Clearing the outer buildings helps direct the dragons inside the base. I use one rage in the beginning when dragons are mostly grouped and save the other two rage spells for when they approach ad's.
I have found the bk to be a nice tank/distraction on the far side of the base as your dragons are working their way across and starting to get low on health. Drop him by a couple of archer towers.

My personal strategy when attacking in clan wars is use my hero's and cc troops to clear outer buildings take out cc n hero's. Once drags have a clear path rage spells will make them nearly unstoppable. But drags are similar to pekka's they will wander if not given a path to follow.

also use rage not lightning takes 3 lightnings to take out 1 air defense. 3 rage spells will do way more destruction with drags then 3 lightnings.

As TH 8 I use 8 dragons 15 mins 10 barbs and my lvl 7 BK. Also 2 rage and a heal. I'll point my BK and barbs at any AD that's close to edge and start attack where dragons will spread out to hit 2 ADs fairly early in battle. I use the rages when they get within AD range. Use the minions to knock out stuff on edges to keep dragons in the middle.

If your using dragons for trophys or clan wars you should forget the lightning. Go with rage dragons are fairly slow and if you don't give them the rage boosts you'll be up against the timer quite a bit. Also always check corners before attack and reserve a few barbs to knock out huts. Nothing hurts more then 98% 2 star win. It takes about 30 seconds for dragons to get from one corner to go straight up the edge to another corner. 45 seconds to go straight across map to opposite corner.

You don't need any other troops with mass dragon. And all rage spells are by far the best option. The problem usually is that noob dragon users spam them all in one spot and then they go on the merry go round around the base.

A better strategy is to spread them out in a line along one side of the base or in a V pattern if you attack from a corner.

And with dragons and rage you don't need to lure the CC troops. In fact it's better to let them come out of the CC as they will pull your dragons to the center of the base. Just drop a rage on a few dragons when the CC troops are in range.

3 lightning strikes can take out AD all the way up to level 5 for sure have not tried it against 6. If its in clan wars you are better off with rage. If it's in matchmaking and you find a th8 with 3 AD's one being upgraded you can lightning strike the one that is tougher to reach and drop the drags closer to the final one where they can take it out.
