TH8 Farming what is my best attack method?

Also, try to avoid using spells if possible. You are not really "farming" dropping spells every attack...

If collector runs are hard to find add a 5-8 giants to help get to Storages.

I agree with this but i found it is particulary effective in low silver against lower lv/rushed bases and it is extremely effective

Not necessarily. If you have 10 or 15 or 20 minions on hand and a DE barracks is at hand it's easy to surpass the minion cost. Don't be niggardly with your DE troops if they are going to get it back for you.
I've made far more DE with minions than they've ever cost me.

I'd just rather save all my DE and get to my DE goals that much faster. I've done both and for me, Barch is more effective at farming while trying to farm DE at TH8 as well...

Barb and arch. Use all lightning spells. Get resources from spells, like dark elixer. Then upgrade those archers!

Wrong. BAM is a better method all around. At th8 if you hang around 1600 trophys you can PROFIT 4-5k DE per hour using BAM. It's just way better than BARCH. You just have to learn how to use it.

BAM can fly you over those walls and get to DE storages behind 1 or 2 walls where BARCH will never get those. When you find a nice storage behind 2 walls just use your barbs and archers to clear out the outer buildings, send in 1 or 2 minions to clear the air bombs and then send in the rest of your minions to clean out the DE.

If there is a wiz tower covering the DE and it's a big haul you can use 1 rage or 1 heal spell to make sure you get all the DE.

For th8 farming there is absolutely no way BARCH is better than BAM.

It's funny you say, "Wrong." This is opinion based and just like building bases, there is a trade off depending on what you are trying to do/protect. Is BAM better than Barch. Well, yes....duh. At 1600 trophies it would work better for farming DE, but I like to farm all resources and 1600 is a tad too high to get those 200-300k bases. I prefer 1400-1500 since it seems to lately have the best mix of both, without a TON of TH9's coming down on you every 10 minutes.

Again, to each their own, but I like the way I farm. I get a good amount of DE at the end of the day, farm 4-5 mil gold and elixir, and don't have high level TH's coming after me.

I agree that BAM is better than BArch, strength wise. Doesn't mean it is the best for farming, for me.

It was like me saying Dragon is better than Archer. Yes it is, duh. So, no, I don't just "agree" with you.
