Things that help;
Spring traps near A/Defs (Flying Giants FTW!!)
Air mines near the edges.. after the Giants destroy an A/Def typically they release the healer.. so Bomb near there makes them go bye-bye.. use your replays to gauge where the attackers release them.. put air-bombs/mines there.
Good use of walls; make the giants walk around long distances to get to the A/Defs.. Try and trick them into leading the healer into the zone in range of the A/Defs. sometimes a long strip of wall with a hole can work well. the Giants will walk around the wall to get to the hole while other turrets get them.. or sprig traps send them to heaven. Also, use upgrading defense turrets. The Giants will still target these turrets too. Use them to kite the Giants around so the active turrets can go to work on them.
search up on Funneling and Labrynth layouts.. they will help. there is a good Funneling 101 sticky on this Tact forum.
If you are a th9, the simple solution is called the Anti-Everything base.

Giant/Healer CANNOT survive this base. The giants will always merry-go-round and be picked off by the spring traps, defenses and xbows in the core. The healers will follow the giants on the merry-go-round and will be picked off by the seeking air mine in each corner and the 4 air defense in the core (if they get too close).
Have a base that utilizes spring traps in between defenses. A few well placed AD will help too.
Put a seeking air mine right next to your air defense because when the healer comes to heal the giants, it will run into the air mine.
Try funneling.
improve your Air defense and protect them
While the GH (giant healer) strategy may seem daunting, there are some ways to defend against it- either to kill the healer ASAP or remove as many giants from the battlefield using springs.
1) Proper spring trap placements. 6 springs equate to 18 giants tossed from the battlefield since 1 spring tosses 3 giants. U may check out my base: forum.supercell.net/showthread.php/242744-Hypnotica-TH8-Trophy-Base
I placed springs in a ring design in btw defenses in the inner layer tossing all of them off when they enter.
2) Like what some have mentioned, centralised air def and air mines wreck healers. Try to place them in a triangular fashion to maximise coverage of air space so the healers can be killed ASAP.
Hope this helps.
I've been getting hit by healer/giant and barch, or all archers since going to TH 8 in gold 3. What I did was simple, I purposefully did not upgrade my walls in one corner of my base (They are level 4, rest of base is level 8 walls) and I put an AD and my DE drill there. I also moved my DE storage closer to that side. Then I placed all of my big bombs, all of my teslas, and all of my spring traps right there. They are slightly behind everything, so testing rarely works. The mass of bombs wrecks barch/archers, and I have cleared 18 giants in about 3 seconds with all of my spring traps leading to a tesla, which has another tesla right behind it.
Since making my base weak on one side because of walls I have yet, in about 2 weeks been attack from any other side. People are too predictable.
The one person that attacked me from the other direction was a TH 10 that would have smashed my base no matter what.
Thanks for your tips! I've redesigned my base, with the AD much better protected, and more spread out so the Giants get picked off. The air bombs are well placed, and I implemented a nice funnel for the giants to walk into. I've placed my spring trap in a walkway a giant would HAVE to go through to take out the AD, and hopefully they'll be bunched up and taken out.
