Problem with the attack system

I am not one to complain but I have to make an acknowledgment of what I think is a flawed system. Last night I was attacked by a person at level 75 and I am on level 20. The reason this person could attack me is the attack system is based on trophey count and not level. The root of the problem is you can lose your trophies and fall all the way back to the level of those just starting and destroy them without any way for them little guy to defend themselves. This guy had all 5 star players and one 3 star monster that destoryed everything with one hit. I love this game but if this continues there is no reason to keep playing. All my time and progress doesn't stand a chance against these odds. Please consider a change in the way the attack system puts two opponents together.

There is a loot penalty to counter that.
At what cups are U and what TH?

one day you'll do the same...

there is a lot of reason to demolish a small base...

and it was really not for the loot because of loot penalty, he may have done this for cups (getting back up because sub farming) going for builder hut, achievement... anything


and don't panics on trophy range... you will see that there is place to be for each th level and even at high th lvl, there is always a reason to still be around 1000-1200 trophy range

I was at 780 but he took 25 from me. I guess that's the main reason it made me mad. I'm trying to hit the 800 mark per clan rules and I can't seem to get there. He was at 745.

As a lvl20 its great to achieve a good cup count once in awhile, but if you really want to progress you need to lower you cups and attack a more appropriate level.

don't worry man, if you are high up in cups then this happens. Try sniping town halls. (attacking farmers with their town hall's open)

loot protection with protect you. About trophy, u dont have to care about it unless u havent reached 1250 Cup for achievement

The problem isn't the system, it is your motive for being in a trophy range that you as a level 20 DO NOT belong in. Find a more appropriate clan for your level. And I will also like to note that you are asking them to change the system in a way that would also effect you ANYWAY. You're too high in cups and he was too low. Fixing it would mean balancing it out so that he couldn't be in that range, but neither could you. Still have to find a new clan.

Maintaining trophies at league where you don't belong is and should be hard.

That's the way it is, so you'd know where you should be and stay there or.... Living high risk life at the mercy of people way stronger than you.

I guess that's why I all of a sudden can't win a battle. How you keep your trophy count low? I mean if you win then it's going up right?

Attack someone, drop one barb and surrender.
Easy to drop hundreds of cups this way :)

so he wiped your base clean, so what.

how much loot did he take home with him? thats the important question.

these players with max troops wont get much out of someone of your level.

Like others said, it sounds like you need a new clan if they stress over trophies (I do not get why any clan does this =.=)

Also I do not really understand the personal level thing, what matters is troop level, how much they take from you, so on.

I do dislike the trophy system though, too many high levels in low trophy range for no reason other then picking on low levels because they can't beat someone their level. *Like the town hall nine with level six troops and archer queen taking 1600 dark elixir from me =.=)

At a low level you shouldn't care about trophies too much. It's easy to go up or down where you are. It's around crystal where things change and the trophy system works fine.
