Quit Crying about your boost if this is happening to you for the first time.

So am I safe to assume that you've experienced this before, or you were just unlucky and boosted just as the 5 minute warning came up?

I only ask because you're not the only one that's made a thread on this matter, there's quite a few of you disgruntled players that just boosted right before maintenance.

So if this isn't your first rodeo, I take it it's also safe to assume that you have actually witnessed the time lost from start of boost to end of maintenance.

Because I can understand that scenario where this isn't the first time this sort of thing has happened. If it is, then to those of you who just felt you needed to post a thread without seeing the results, you need to grow up and see if it indeed gets paused by SC while maintenance is going on, or you really lose your time.

For the first timers, once you find out, then you can cry like little children, because yes I agree, you spend an in game currency that can only be obtained either through patience, or real money. Until you find out the results (again for first timers) how about you find out what happens first.

Well said...plus 2 things

1. They freeze war times so they should be able to freeze boosts.
2. Most maintenance are only 5 minutes so suck it up ppl.
if your unlucky to boost before a big update....I still think you should suck it up...then most you spent is $2 lol
but in saying that $2 is a lot to some and on principle you should get what you pay for ;)

No.... Most maintenance breaks like this one are 45 minutes...

Timing is frozen with wars which are being timed on a server separate from your village server. If boosting was paused for maintenance breaks that would mean pausing everything in a village including build times, no thank you.

Wow i was about to post a similar thread about how every maintence break people are complaining about boosting barracks.

It doesn't pause that's why people are complaining

Not so much as they don't have the right (shoot everyone has the right to cry), but if this is their first they've boosted whatever and all of a sudden maintenance break, and first thing that comes to mind is waaaaah.

Don't even wait the 45 min to 1 hr to see if they even lost the time. The first timers automatically assume, it's gone, OMG THOSE FEW GEMS ARE GONE!!! RAWWWWRRRR!!!

Don't even give the situation a chance to unfold. That's all I'm saying.

How many are there about, "we should be able to donate resources," or how about, "idea that will cause people to get free gems and keep money out of SC's pockets?"

Yeah, well, I'm all for sc making tons of money, but I'm not going to cry if they lose a little to keep the game fun.

Let's face the facts. I'm here playing, and now paying, because I saw their ad on TV about their "free" game. And while technically true I've spent over 100 dollars. So yeah, keep the game fun. Oh no , you can't buy your third beach house. This game gas made them millionaires.
