I've noticed A LOT of farms, including my own with a huge amount of dead trees and bushes. I think saws and axes should be available for coins in the shop. I can never find enough of these two items even with help from my neighborhood.

They are available for coins in the shop, however people have to put them up for sale and since people tend to need most if not all of their saws and axes they are not sold very often. Greg will also sell them sometimes.
i get saws offered to me all the time but axes not that often
I meant to say have the saws and axes for sale in the store, not in roadside shops.
You can also hire Tom (for diamonds, not coins) and he will bring you up to 9 saws, axes or anything else you request, excepting expansion items, every two hours.

This is an idea and suggestion.
Thank you to all who have mentioned Tom and roadside shops as ways to get saws and axes, but I was making a suggestion to Supercell to maybe add an option in the store to buy these items. Maybe in the tree/bush section?
Or maybe add a production shop/hardware store so we can craft the items. Specifically, the axes and saws at the lower levels.
I have a solution.
Do not collect fruits from your trees/bushes(after the revival round) unless you have collected saws/axes for cutting or you urgently need that fruit.
This will maintain a good looking farm.
Another thing is don't plant so many trees that you don't have tools to cut them.

I can always harvest 40 trees but need no more than 10 saws.
I'd rather have Supercell dedicate resources to a problem I can't solve myself.

Saws and axes come a plenty when you reap a ton of wheat. I try to keep between 20 and 30 of each on hand, and sell off the rest. Of course, you ocassionally see people such as myself selling them off roadside every now and then. I believe it has been said, but let me repeat, don't plant and harvest more than you can manage to rid yourself of. If you take notice, you'll see that people have roadside shops maxed out in apples,etc for sale, and then when you look at their farm they have entire forests of dead trees. For your farm, but diversify a bit. Otherwise, you are just gonna have rows and rows of dead trees that will take you forever to rid yourself of.

I totally understand you, when you make a suggestion and everyone starts telling you how to play the game lol I think it would be good if the visitors come and sell you saws and axes instead of always asking to buy them! Ad I would love to be able to buy them without having to use diamonds for Tom or scroll through the newspapers... You are lucky if you ever find these items!!Quote:

It is not at all compulsory that you need to use the solution I provided. You can do whatever you want.
Supercell will read only your request but till it is implemented we provide hints on handling the problem.

The sollution suggested has been requested a billion of times before... and it hasn't been implemented yet and probably won't, since there's a reason for a limited amount of saws in the game. Telling off people who point at the already existing sollutions to the mentioned problem does not help yourself.
So given sollutions were plenty, the haha you can get if you refuse to take them.

I do not like dead trees on my farm, so I try to cut them only when i have saws.
If people decide to harvest as much as possible to get money quick, and have dead trees it is a decision they make themselves. At some points they can not plant more trees as the farm is full. It is their own farm and their own choice.
I've had a rough time keeping up with saws (thanks mayonnaise and olive oil...) and now with bees, I'm already running low on saws. I'd love to see a guaranteed way to get saws or axes; I don't mind having to shell out some coin for them, but I would feel a lot better about harvesting bushes and trees if I knew I could cut them down when they died.Quote:

Edit: since the bees arrived, I'm running out of hatchets, too. I've always tried to keep enough in stock so that I didn't have deadwood cluttering up my orchards, but now I'm in trouble. Wheating is boring.
I understood what you meant the first time i read it, instead of scouring the stalls (player's roadside shops) they should be available in the store, where you buy production machines and animals and trees. I get it, and i'm with you. It's a great suggestion. Or create a "silver smith" production unit, so we can mine ore, then make our own axes and saws, just like everything else on our farm. eh, ya?Quote:
