Clan wars do not reward or highlight individual efforts at all.

Right now at the end of a war you get some loot an thats about it. There is no MVP, there is no #1 loot gainer, There is no chart that says "I did the best/most risky attacks. There could even be points you get after each war that ranks people up based on army ranks. Like if i attack bases with higher level townhalls than mine and i successfully defeat them I get +10 squire points, then after I reach 100 i get promoted to warrior or something. Or even better I can choose what i get promoted to and based on what i choose a certain unit of mine gets a bonus. Like if i level up to novice mage then my wizards get +5 attack or something. I think the war system is very good. But it isnt aesthetically pleasing for the individual player enough

You get loot.... that's about it, because that is what it is for... using hogs, or using mass dragons does not make you a "risky attacker", it makes you a cheap person who wants to win wars just so he can get the loot. Oh wait... that's me! I used GoWiPe for the first time. I got two stars. I'm so happy that the golems blow up when they die!

Because it's called "Clan Wars", not "Individual Wars".

And...you've realised how pointless Clan Wars are.

The only thing CW did was screw up loot. The loot from CW is nothing and relying on 49 other people to do the right thing on a mobile game is about the dumbest idea ever.

I can't believe this is what people had asked for forever, possibly the most useless thing ever.

I knew someone would inevitably say this. But its still a video game where people want to progress and have results for how well they did. If I attack better than my clan mates I want them to know it. Why you ask? Simply because a clan/guild that doesnt have anyway of giving the players prestige gets real old/really stale, really fast. We all know trophies are a joke so I think using the system i made in my first post would make at least clan wars interesting. I have done 6 successful attacks in a row in my clans last 3 wars. higher level guys than me and dudes my same th level keep ♥♥♥♥ing up their attacks. So I want recognition for doing well. Games, especially online games, are suppose to fulfill that want.

You can watch the replays and tout the clan members that shined in their raids. :cool::D

There are achievements for the individual to work towards.

But it's mostly a whole clan thing, if you want to recognise individuals do up your own spreadsheet program or something to show it.

I think the thing to remember is it only just came out. They're going to tweak things and add things in future updates. Much like when replays first came out, they changed things a bit and added loot amounts etc later after we asked for them. I see where the OP is coming from... there's bigger issues though like not having a separate war base from your own base making farming extremely difficult for some players. Lets see what they come up with over the next few updates.

That's why my clan is undefeated: because we are One team... We the big players are constantly chatting with the smaller members to rearrange theIr village, attack strategy, star and loot gain, and advice to not bite what you can't chew... We don't fight for individual glory.. Clan Wars won't make a member grow from level 20 to 50 in a single war, but grow you with experience... We fight for collective clan success... :cool:
