Hey people,
A few people from my clan haven't received any gem boxes since the update of gem boxes came out while i myself have received 3. The availability of gem boxes should be increased so all players get them. But also increase GEMS IN A GEMBOX. like 25 gems is not enough some people need to gems stuff.

I myself have not gotten one either when people in my clan have recieved up to 3 or 4.. please resolve this issue as it is not very fair
How often do you who say you haven't gotten any gem boxes, clear your camps?
I'm just wondering because I have gotten 3 boxes so far and keep my camp pretty clear.
The spawning works similar to how Christmas trees did- there is a certain percent chance that any obstacle will be a gem box (max 1/week though), so the spawning is random. There is nothing unfair about that IMO. The number of gem boxes everyone has will even out over time.Quote:

I have not received one on either of my accounts, and nor do I really care. The amount of gems these offer are almost useless to someone at my level. Speaking of which, SC does offer the least amount of rewards compared to any online game I have ever played.
It has nothing to do with how many gems you have, or any other factor except can obstacles spawn on your base. A sample size of 5 is not large enough to draw conclusions from, and for every thread I've seen saying what you are saying, I've seen one saying the exact opposite. It is random, and we saw all these same arguments with the christmas trees and there doesn't seem to be any evidence to support it.Quote:

im yet to see myself gain a gem box but we all have tons of time :p I received 5 xmas trees so it balances out for me. (wish i didnt cut them down last week)

maybe it has something to do with your base layout or people not clearing other obstacles already on the map. your base has a maximum obstacles limit. All of my buildings are in the middle of the map so all my bushes and trees have tons of room to spawn on all 4 sides of the map. I dont have any weird buildings blocking off the edges and whatnot. ALL my obstacles have always like to grow on the outside. I have never seen anything grow in between my buildings in the middle when I used to have weird bases that had open patches in the middle.
I suggest everyone look at their bases and ask yourself if you were gem box if you would want to appear in a base where everything is all over the place covering the map lol?
I am not on the board yet. Zero gem boxes on either of my accounts. I have friends who have received 4 boxes. I'm unconcerned with the quantity in them, I'd just like an opportunity to receive some freebies.

Seriously there is no point complaining on this topic, It is purely based on chance.
Adding such gifts doesn't mean every account will necessarily receive it.
A few will, most won't, deal with it.

If you know the chances of a gem box occurring, and the number of people in the clan, it is possible to estimate how likely it is that all members would have received at least 1 gem box.Quote:
