When to move to th 8?

Hi I'm wondering how soon I should move to th 8. Im planning on maxing all defenses, getting walls to level 6(pink walls), getting the bk and getting the troops that I use consistently to level 4. Is this good enough or do I need to max everything

When troops camps defenses and bk are maxed id move this is assuming you have not left gold walls but gone to all pink mostly purple.

Everyone asks this question because they desperately want someone to say "now man, it doesn't matter what your defenses are, or your troop levels" because they want to be that "next level." This is despite the 3300 posts about maxing before you upgrade TH.

I was in that situation for sometime, there are several aspects to this question, you have to ask yourself, how much time are you willing to commit to CoC, because if that the case, do what you think, if your more of a casual player, Max out your splash damage, (Wiz & Mortars) Assuming your camp is at least 180, you will be alright to go into TH8. One of the biggest problems that people who rush the TH get farmed, they can't get any resources, its why many players will max certain areas to help protect what they have, other players will max offense. So it all boils down to what type of player you really are.

Personally, I was TH7 for about 2 months, and I had no problem with resources, now that I am in TH8, I am in the same situation, although I did not gem my way up, I put the time in and leveled up, farmed the ♥♥♥♥ out of things, but that might not work for everyone! :)
