Yes, leave a builder free to dump into walls. Don't worry about elixirs, they are gonna be full most of the time as you goto th 9 and 10 anyways, just get used to it. It never hurts to have walls upgraded, it gives an intimidating factor, keeps your gold low so you don't get farmed by higher ths, and allows you to raid more.

You could also try upgrading bombs/traps with the lone builder. They are quite costly and quick to upgrade.

Sound like an idiot to me. Saving them till last is pretty dumb, you're losing resources while capped and people can steal more of your resources due to them not being spread out equally.

I'm sorry, I look like an amateur? I don't raid on full storages because there will be no gain. And last I checked, with only 20% of the loot being available at a 200k cap, anything above 1 million in a storage is safe.

Your insults are irrelevant and your lack of knowledge just proves it. Nothing at TH8 costs over 3 million gold. Level 6 teslas cost 3 million each and I'm not at that point yet. (Not that it would matter since I can hold 3M)

Thanks for your opinion, but I had a genuine question and got good responses from people with actual ways to solve problems rather than bash the OP

I farm between 1500-1700 usually. I will go up to 1800+ when looking for more DE. Hope this helps

Traps are another good idea since many people, myself included, choose to neglect them. I think I will upgrade my giant bombs and air bombs in order to better prepare myself for hogs and balloonion. Thanks for the great idea!

You're the one having to ask how to get rid of excess gold while you don't have max storages and you're entirely wrong about the cap being 200k lol.

Anything above 1mil is not safe, not to mention collectors as well.

Upgrade your storages, that's how you can get rid of some gold. Or you know, keep a builder open like everyone else in the game to upgrade walls.

There's generally more DE over 2000 cups. But finding big DE bases is really mostly luck. :p
