I am from the UK but downloaded the game in Dubai so am linked to the Middle East server (I think as global chat is Arabic...) I haven't bothered to change this as I am worried the loot will be worse if I do (I have never found it worse than after clan wars started between 1400-1900 trophies) and I am pretty lazy!
So my question is will it make a difference to ask supercell to change my server? I would prefer to have global chat in English but NOT at the expense of loot.
Any thoughts??

It doesn't matter. I attack Chinese people and I'm on the French server so yah.
Go to settings on the right and change the language to English (it will have the UK/USA flag). Tap on that little logo. The game will restart and you should be good to go.
Global chat remains in Arabic if I do this. The server is linked to the country of download not the language.Quote:

Although, you can still change to another global change, usually by switching to another language in the Game Settings.
If you can't do so, you can contact the support to ask a 1-time language change at: clashofclans.feedback@supercell.net
