Returning Sell Buildings Feature?

Hello.
I am posting this thread to request that the sell feature for buildings, defense, etc, be added back to Clash of Clans.
I understand that the feature was removed to prevent users form accidentally selling there items, but the absence of this feature is very frustrating to me, as items I have place unintentionally cannot be removed.
The least that can be done is offer a toggle in the settings to enable this feature, so that users can prevent themselves from accidentally selling there items, but enable it if the purchased something they do not want.

Please take my suggestion into consideration, as the absence of such a feature has made playing this game very difficult.

Serious question- why would you want to sell a building if the option was available?

I do not understand what you could have placed that you wanted to sell. Please list the buildings you have placed that you want to sell and the reasons.

I have unintenetialy placed to many walls, and have no place to put them. I have also purchased an extra Gold Storage, when i could have simple upgraded my current Gold Storage, and saved room.

Having these extra items is pointless, and i simple wish to remove them.

Both those items are a neccesity to have all of in the game...

Why would you want to sell walls?

No room? there is plenty? Also some point in the game you are REQUIRED to have two storage like to go from six to seven you need two level nine ones (max for the town hall) as a level five to pay for the level six upgrade. (I think that is when it was, I am not sure, then there ws another where one needed to be max level and the second one could be one level under max)


Having too much wall makes no sense.

Did you know you can remove the random trees and rocks around? Maybe that is why you lack room?

I just simply wish to remove items! It is ridicules for them to have removed this feature!
I have just started this game on Friday, and have already added items that I do not want. I should be able to remove them if i do not wish for them to be there!

You always need them... remove the trees and such... there is plenty of room....

I do not think removing buildings ever existed, you can only do that on decorations

So wait, it did exist long time ago but this person is supposedly new and have too many walls but knew about it existing?


This thread is fake, I think they re trying to "troll" then because it makes no sense to want to remove buildings.

If they did play that long ago to know about it then they should know two storage is necessary for buying upgrades.

I'm not trolling. I Googled it, and read that the feature use to exist. Some people sre glad its gone, ad others wish for it to return, That is why a toggle in the settings would be helpful.

Why are you googling that and not the fact you will need two storage later on to pay for things? ( I am sure one poitn three will be needed but I am not at that point to tell you what or why yet, town hall nine can be bought by a level 11 and a level 10 gold storage)

It is not needed, there is no reson for you to have "Too many walls or buildings" If you do it is likely you have a bad layout.

The only thing that I can this feature being useful for is Storage's. I had 2 storage's that I thought were fully upgraded but they weren't. So I bought a 3rd so that I could hold more gold. then I realized I could upgrade both my storages once more which game me more than enough storage space for the time being. At that point I wish I could have sold the 3rd storage space because with my base design it sits out side my walls and is just basically free pickings when I'm raided.

That is the only thing I can see that I would like the feature to sell for.

I wish I knew that rushing your TH lvl wasn't a good idea when I started too... lol

Yes, I have a bad layout. I wish to remove the unused walls I have because I have a really small village, and there is no need for the walls. I am not going to argue about a game, I am simply requesting that the feature be added, because some users, like me, may find it to be helpful.

As an almost maxed town hall 9, it is normal for buildings to sit outside of walls. In fact, it is a good strategy when at lower town halls to buy all your buildings as fast as you can in order to decrease the percentage a person gets upon destroying a building. In the case of selling buildings, there are more cons than pros, and I think after over 2 years, supercell would have thought long and hard about it and I highly doubt it will be returning.

also there is no such thing of having too many walls, show your base? I want to see what you are talking about =.=

before I could get walls I just cluttered everything. Mortar in the middle, then cannons, then camps and barracks and such. I won a lot of defenses without walls when I was new. My first 600 trophies was all off defense.

There is only around three peices of wall. It is just irking me just sitting there in my village not protecting anything. As said before, some users want the feature, will others do not. Answer to this problem: A. Simple. Toggle. Switch.

I will post a screenshot of my horable village when I have them time.

Dot the outside part of the base with them so people have to tap father from your base if they are really not needed but I do not remember ever having extra wall =.=

You could also to use them to expand the area for ^ that reason too.

That is a good strategy! I might just try that!
I still know that i will screw up and need to delete something in the future. Whatever...its obvious that nobody likes the idea of a Toggle Switch...

The only reason I would want to sell buildings would be to get quick cash to upgrade my TH, though as long as some builds would take to re-build the idea of having this feature re-added wouldn't be worth it. The fact that some people might sell their building structures by accident also comes to mind as to why this shouldn't be added.

Trust me, when you advance further in the game you see why I think this "issue" is rather silly. There is going to be a point where you will need to fill 2/3 MAX level storage (11) just to upgrade one thing. Plus having more storage makes it harder for someone to take all your stuff. (need to deal more damage and what they take is split between all the storages)

Cap for me of having stuff taken is 300000, if I have two storages while i sit on 2 million each (gold/elixir) then someone gets 150 000 from each storage, if I had three, they can only take 100 000 from each storage and need to take out all three to get that cap.

Plus when you see the cost of wall upgrades you see why people do not want to mistake to sell something. I am spending half a million per wall section to upgrade (and I need do this 225 times) and the last upgrade cost 200000 gold.

Even with "toggle" it is most likely something that is not going to be used much (new players later regretting it)

Hmm... I think i should remove all my storages so i cant lose any resources.

*facepalm* DUDE. If you remove ur storages u will have no money, and no where to put the money from the mines. THINK ABOUT IT

I understand selling traps. But if you allowed removing buildings, it would allow crazy Exp firstly. Secondly, champion league players can sell all but one storage and sell anything that is extra, like mines and collectors are extra to them for defense and itd be crazy to raid and get 50% if they could sell

I would like this feature to return. While there's no reason to ever sell walls or defensive buildings, I would like to sell all of my gold mines and most of my elixir collectors. While inside my walls, they reduce defensive building density, causing attackers to take less damage. If I leave them outside, they make me a target for anyone desiring easy resources. The resource gain they provide is pathetic compared to what you can get from attacking people. I would keep a few elixir collectors to replenish my troops if an attack went badly, but otherwise these buildings should be removable.

Just add the option TO sell/REMOVE buildings.., I want to replace cannons for archery and mortar.
It is ridiculous that such a basic options doesn't exists..

Um... You can move buildings...

To a point i understand about the storages.

I bought the 3rd storage at TH8 and realize nothing in TH8 required me to have a 3rd and just caused me to have to protect an extra 2 storages.

By TH9, definitely needed the 3rd which i maxed by this point. Now i did the smart thing, i did NOT buy the 4th storages and i have yet run into a problem with my 6 million cap. Two less storages to protect.

I can understand that way of thinking but as an attacker I love finding bases with unbuilt storages, less storages to have to target and easier loot.
