A picture of your base would help many determine what needs work but I can easily say that it would be best used on boosting your Barracks to get more gold per hour. Gemming your loot is just about the biggest possible waste of gems. I would keep those 6500 until a trophy push and use them on boosting Spell Factory and Heroes which are a big component of pushing. More info is needed base setup th level a pic would be helpful. Honestly that amount of gems will boost your racks spells hero's for a long time of raiding making you more then just buying resources.

Regardless boosting racks hero's n spells will give you a much better success rate then just filling gold and elixer a couple times.
