Thanks for all the advice. I decided to cancel the upgrade. I know now it was a mistake but I want to fix it. I started upgrading base. Any advice would be great.
*When I get home I will post pictures of my base. I would love help with walls, defence and attacking.

If you don't know anything then don't upgrade
If you think 2 million gold is too much to loose then don't upgrade...
just cancel the upgrade...

If you are asking this, you arent ready for TH10 for sure and you should thank your clanmate big time
You will get half the gold back you put in for the TH10, 2 million I believe. Farming is a lot harder at TH10 due to the loot penalty. Sounds like you arent even ready to be TH9 tbh. So cancel your TH upgrade and keep working on the TH9. Focus on offense (army camp and lab) for elixir and defense for gold, get at least level 6-7 walls if you havent already and find a good trophy range to farm

Yeah, since the OP has decided to cancel the Upgrade... things you will likely to do before do the TH10 Upgrade :
10. Upgrade Spell Factory to Lv 4, then upgrade your spells as high as possible in your laboratory.
9. Upgrade all your troops step by step in Laboratory to its Maximum Level in Lv 7 Lab.
8. Lv 9 Cannon And Archer Tower
7. Lv 5 or 6 Air Defense
6. All Barracks Lv 9 if possible, with dark barracks lv 3.
5. Army Camp must be at least Level 6. Level 7 would be nice.
4. Upgrade your Gold Storages until Max Level (Lv 11)
3. Hidden Tesla Lv 3
2. Walls at least Level 6 or 7. The higher the better
1. and last. Wizard Tower and Mortar level 5 or 6 would be great.
Numbers are set from priority. it's your choice to upgrade what you want first.
