Don't complain about low trophy range and collector raids etc. SC didn't intend for that when the game was made. Your suppose to attack people your range and higher. So my suggestion is go up in crystals and masters and boost and attack. :)

ya'll sound like premies searching great profit raids in leagues you TH's doesn't belong in anymore, complaining about not getting loot anymore from lower TH's, always TH10 that complains about everything
Like Zach said climb in trophies and get to master3 loot is there and its a ghost town aswell, people leave there stuff in pumps drills and collectors just to get raided
and doing TH8 walls in TH10 doesn't seem like SC's problem but your own
It's all about shifting your mindset and learning new farming strategies.
As a TH9 I could farm like crazy in 1500-2000 trophy range because I had essentially no loot penalty for TH10/9/8 which dominate that trophy range.
Now as a TH10 1800 is about the basement, but you will still see a lot of TH8's in that range which are effectively gone for lucrative farming.
Once you get up to the 2100+ range you see very few TH8's and it's almost all TH9/10 and the loot penalty is no longer a factor. However, the bases are not pushover bases that you're used to picking on easy TH8's.
Throw in Clanwars and it adds another dynamic to the equation. There are a gabillion players who were inactive before that are now playing regularly. So, there are a lot fewer full collector raids available, but this will get better as the "newness" of clanwars wears off.
Personally, I'm using BARCH as a new TH10 in the 2100-2200 range and it's working out pretty well. Sure, the loot is still a little slim due to CW, but the vast majority of bases are relatively easy TH9/10 bases that I can 1 star. I'm able to farm close to the same here as a TH10 that I was as a TH9 in 1800-2000 range.
Just hit this easy collector raid while I was typing this post and it took about 5 "next's". Also hit 50% so tack on another 21k/21k/50 for loot bonus:

Again, a TH is a TH no matter the Trophy range. A trophy range just gives you a better win reward. Put it this way, I've been playing this game 3 months and 1 week and I'm already level 90. With 462 million coins raided and 465 million Elixir. I have 3005 battles won.... so it's not like I haven't noticed the huge difference by moving up to TH10. Now, its so much more miss then hit. It's like the whole game has stopped.
Unless you spent a lot on gems to get your troops/camps upgraded you have to be a super premie TH10 at 3 months playing.
I've been playing with 5 builders going non-stop since last August and I am still considered a somewhat premie TH10. I'm guessing you have TH7/8 defenses/troops at best, so yeah you're going to have a tough time finding loot no matter what you do. :-/
If u find ops profile u will see his obstacle achievement, in case he always cut obstacles down u will thereby see for how long he have played by withdrawing about 20(starter obstacles) and then divide by three!
Right now I'm using balloonions (40 minute train time with my ratios) right around 2800. Granted, I'm not raiding non-stop all-day everyday like I used to, but most times I log on for a raid I can find a decent base to attack within 20-30 searches or so (naturally, that varies at times) that I can win 200-300k off of (meaning about 300-400k after bonus). The bases here really don't require too much to beat, I actually see quite a few TH 9s everyday, so any of them that have loot is basically a freebie.
I don't know if you have tried balloonion, of course it's not for everyone, but I can assure you it works for some of us.
