How many stars can you get from your own base

The actual discussion was about choosing targets in war. My opinion was that best strategy is to attack a base weaker than yours as you can't get 3 stars of base on your level.

i use a farming base so th+50% is possible with barch.

I'm a maxed th7 (going to 8) and I think I could 3 star my own base with mass dragons.

I was thinking about this today in terms of clan war match ups. I think as you go above 7 the chances of 3 starring a perfectly matched opponent start to go down.

In our clan we generally pick targets we can probably 3 star, but they aren't always lower. A lot of th8s and even 9s can be 3 starred by a th7 with lvl2 dragons and a few spells, for example, because so many players neglect their air defense.

I'm with Wisco above. I have 3 starred every TH 7 opponent in Clan Wars so far and it is easy with roughly 4-7 dragons left at the end (using 8 with one in CC so total 9 although don't need the CC on a TH 7). I have not seen a TH 7 base I couldn't 3 star with the right army comp.

Of course I could easily flatten my own TH 7 base with mass dragons and I try to keep my WT and ADs separated.

antonka- sounds like you are TH 7. If you want I can talk you through how to 3 star your own base. You need lv 2 minions and lv 2 dragons though. :)

This is a very interesting topic as there's no one better than yourself to know how to attack your base.

I think I can two star my old TH9 base (in my sig) with mass drags, and also two star my current TH10 base with gowiwi. :P

Even though I'm maxed out in everything as a TH 7 ('cept for walls) I feel it is impossible for a TH 7 to stop a mass drag. I usually 3 star max town hall 8's as long as they don't have wizards in there clan castle and their air defense isn't in the core. Even then I get a minimum of 2 stars.

I hit TH8 this morning, gemmed for L5 wizards and giants... but my walls are still grey so i would smash my own face wide open on a 3 star. Edit: my *new* walls are grey, my old walls are level 8.

I'm farming right now, and a lot of my buildings are spread out for an easy 50%

1 or two stars. I would end up prob ballooinaning myself, or using mass drags. Giants stand no chance, and I know ir. :D
