Calling out the users of mass drag

Hey,

What do you look for in a base you're going to attack with mass drag? What is your AD lvl preference?

I generally use 10 level 3 drags, 2 rage spells, and 1 heal. Im a th 8. I normally look for level 4 or below AD or a base with an AD upgrading, and I only attack bases with a lot of loot.

I usually try and get air defense level three or four. I use level 2 dragons.

If you are at least th 8, you should have all of your ad at lvl 6. Also, make sure xbows are always pointed up if you are th 9+.

I find 12 lvl 4 drags and 5 max rage do the trick, but a bit expensive... :cool:

Be sure to spread the drags out a bit, nothing worse than all your drags getting spash damage from wizards, either cc wizards or wizard towers. But don't spread out too much because you need them to cover for each other, otherwise they don't make it to core. Finally, place rage in front of drags, not right on top of them. That way as they move forward they stay in the rage area longer.

In general I find other options better in the long run, but I still love an all drag attack once in a while.

I will only use when I find a base that has two easy to get ADs. I get one using hogs from my castle plus a healing spell. I get another using a combination of wallbreakers/heros/archers. I get a third using three lightning spells (the best protected). With three ADs gone, most cities cant withstand 9 dragons. If the city is TH 9 (and has a 4th AD) I try to dump all the dragons as close to it as possible. It is amazing how many ppl out there undervalue ADs. It is very common to find them behind just one layer of walls or sometimes even totally out in the open. High lvl AD are certainly not common.

Be careful with TH9s. Plan on losing four of your dragons to air mines.

All drags + All heal spell = 3 stars on most TH8s and TH9s. Just pick a side to attack and make a line dragon formation. Deploy most of the drags in the area where there's a lot of air defenses. You must be patient in using heal spells. If one of your dragon got hit by seeking air mine, don't use yet heal spell. Activate it only when dragons are near air defenses.

Just look for a th9/10 base offering 350k+ gold. Works best if you see one AD upgrading. Lighnting spell other one and spam dragons in. Works pretty well, AD could be lv8, doesnt really matter.

OR find bases with relatively exposed AD. Lightning one and then spam level 20 heroes at other one to kill it. Then mass spam dragons.

Use rage when you see bunch of drags clumped together and near defences.
