This has been my experience, too. I sometimes let my wheat get very low in hopes of getting a wheat or bread boat. Or i sell off all my woolens because I don't mind having to buy them back to fill a boat.

Ranger, I like your attitude. Just fill the boats as usual and anything else is a bonus.

I feel the same way. Btw, ranger, my sis just got back from Japan and I must say what an enchanting country, lovely well dressed people, and amazing food! She couldn't rave enough!

FWIW...by my rough calculations, we are on pace to make this goal. With 3 days, 9 hours left to go, we should be at about 12 million boats to make 37 million by the end of the event. We're at 13.7 million.

Find my self playing Hay Day alot less now. Events have been ridiculous lately. Boats, fishing, boats, fishing, then the failed Easter event, and then right back to boats.

What happen to double coin walk ups and double voucher trucks etc? We haven't seen those in a long time. Hay Day was the only farming game I actually liked the wife got me into it. Now I own all the machines, everything is unlocked I have 3 more achievements to do and then what? Keep levelling up to get 2 gems?

I just don't see a point any more. Events were the only thing keeping me going but I am done with boats and fishing. So it's been fun Hay Day but your lack of innovation has me looking else where for my entertainment needs.

Willa - Yep its a good attitude. At the end of the day its a game and the makers try their best as far as I can see.

Neen - I'm glad she liked it. Agree the food is great which is one reason I moved here from England. Don't regret it at all.

Boat event is good for me (though I think it happens too frequently these days). At my level I have too much coins and only one product locked, so I'm only aiming for exp and level up as quickly as I can. I do most of my boat orders (and tons of truck orders of course) and I usually fill 4 boats a day. Yes, premium items like cakes and icecreams are hard to find and hard to make, but what else should I use them for? :cool:

BTW, so far I got 2 dynamits, 1 gold voucher, 2 purple vouchers, and 2 bolts for reward. Aside from the first reward, it's actually not too bad :)

I have noticed that we are now getting consecutive boats asking for the same item. For me it is cheesecake and soy sauce. My next boat wants more soy sauce, plus two different lots of sushi. Guess where that boat is going - down the river empty, just like the one before it. SC does seem to be trying to persuade us to buy diamonds and hire Tom. Ain't gunna happen!! I am totally over events, and this event in particular. I will do what boats i can, as per normal, but I am most definitely not going to make an effort just for 5 diamonds.

I am quite new to hayday and this is my very first event so I have no comparison but I enjoyed myself with all the boating stuff so far. I got some nice rewards too. A blue voucher, two panels, two land deeds, ands for the fourth goal two golden vouchers ;) Newbie's luck I guess...
I really should go back and sell stuff in my rss to gain enough money to buy that juice maker but filling crates is kind of addictive :rolleyes:

I'm with you on that, lol! I don't really need to do boat orders any more...not really in a hurry to level up so don't really need the experience from it, but it's just addictive for some reason.
