As a post-update player, I watch all of these videos on youtube, and I couldn't help but scratch my head and wonder what the heck I was doing wrong. These guys are clearing crazy loot and I'm lucky if I find one 200k total resource raid per day. I found myself dropping down to silver, using BARCH, and clearing ~40-50k profit in a raid. Decent, if slow, but now I understand why. Loot rules changed.
I found there is some loot around crystal leagues, but gold 2 to high gold 1 seems completely barren...
try going a bit higher perhaps?
Im currently TH9 farming at Gold 2 and I farmed 8 lvl 9 walls yesterday ^^
loot is good again. got 1mil/hour the past 3 days in goldIII
Only got 3 million today? Pfft I never get more than 2 mil a day when I try hard, not enough loot around
Since the last update the loot is terible for th8 in gold 1 2 and 3!
I hope SC can find a solution to this big problem...:(
You are exactly right. Before December the game was a blast to play. Tons of gold every day. You never had to next more than 10-15 times to find a good raid and huge raids were found about every 2 hours. 1.5-2 million gold (not total resources) per hour was the STANDARD rate. Now it's a freaking miracle if you get 1 mil per hour.Quote:

I've spent well over $100 on this game. Sure, bit nearly as much as some but that's not cheap. I won't spend another penny buying gems until they fix the farming.
Guys, the only thing they understand, like all business, us money. Stop giving it to them and they magically listen to the customer. Funny how that works.
Keep giving them money and there is no incentive for them to change.
I mean, do you really think they care? They would have fixed it by now if they did.
They can talk all they want, but actions tell their true feelings. And their inaction on this issue tells us all we need to know.

After the clan wars update I expected a big drop off in loot, but it has yet to rebound. I am lucky to see one inactive base a day. I am not looking for a free handout, just trying to make a profit on my raiding. I am seeing a lot of bases with 100 to 200k of each, but they are though enough that they require both heros and all spells to beat, then I am left trying to raid with no heros and no spells for the next 1.5 hours. It's not sustainable.
At this point if I get a gold profit of 100k or more I am happy, it's gotten that bad.
