Instead of saying 'How kind, next please', you should embrace his criticism. Part of being a good idea-person is to put up with a lot of comments, that can sometimes be harsh.

If you haven't noticed yet, (You have read the stickies?) the search function is the bright yellow magnifying glass at the top-right hand side of the screen. Search keywords of your proposition so that you know that you are not posting something 1 million people have already heard.
