8500 gems to spend in TH9, help me spend them.

So I have 8500 gems remaining to spend in my TH9 base. what's left to upgrade:

Troops:
Hog Riders - Currently upgrading to level 5, 8 days remaining
Balloons - Currently level 5
Minions -Currently level 3

DE Drills:
Level 5 and Level 4

BK: Level 8
AQ: Level 5

Defenses:
Cannons and Archer Towers are all level 10
Wizards Towers all level 6
AD all level 6
Teslas 2 level 6 2 level 5
Mortars all level 7
Xbows both level 2


I was thinking finish the hog upgrade, start the balloons (maybe finish it right away too). Max both DE drills. and see how many gems are left after that (I imagine not many, if at all).

Make sure you have have all 5 builders huts, because a lot of BK AQ and defences to upgrade
I suggest you upgrade you wizard towers and xbows
I wouldn't gem to upgrade your troops unless you are trophy hunting and need the upgraded troops

Just my personal opinion, do what you want though

I personally would gem the upgrade times on splash buildings and AD.

ya I have 5 builder huts already.

Id prefer to get most of my loot through raids which is why i was leaning towards upgrading my troops.

No matter what you decide to do. I advise. Don't gem the cost. Just the time. Raid for the resources your gems will go much further.

Get five builders, then boost barracks/spell factory/hero and do lots of farming sessions :)

i would only spend on boosting, this is a long term game so i can wait the upgrade time :cool: dont ever buy resources

Depends, are you active or not. If you ever notice, most high lvl players have maxed all troops and defences but most of them have low level heroes and walls. If I were you I would get those wizard towers to lvl 7 and with the fifth builder hut use the rest of the gems except for 2000 to upgrade your walls. Use the rest for your heroes. You don't have to do all of this but I would for sure recommend upgrading wiz tower as they 1 shot lvl 6 archers and 2 shot lvl 6 archers (lvl 6 2 shots lvl 6 archers and 3 shots lvl 6 barbs) and as a BARCH user, this is truly devastating. If you aren't active then I recommend wiz towers and some of their suggestions.

I 1000x agree. I hate to admit it, but I've gemmed the build up times whenever they don't sync with my schedule. I prefer my projects to finish during weekends so that I know I will have the free time to farm for the next project but of course varying times to upgrade don't always work in my favor so... :|

I wanted to gem my research time, too but decided it was too expensive. Plus, I'll be TH9 for a very long time so why rush? The time will definitely come when I have nothing to research while I'm still upgrading walls and heroes (at this point, I will probably just go to TH10).

with 8500 youd have like a year supply of boosted barracks, that would be so swag having full armies in 5 minutes
