I suggest buying a 5th builder ;). Push to 1250 cups if you haven't already, or maybe even to crystal, for the free gems from the achievement. You should easily be able to get to crystal. Then just buy the missing thems for the 5th builder lol.

i farmed between 1300 to 1450 trophies using giant healer arch wall and gobs 2 heal 1 rage....usually getting many awesome collector raids for which i used archs and gobs but also the giants and healers meant that i could go for storage raids as well....this is a time consuming army but i could afford it because i was used to finding 400k+ loot every time i searched and i played in gaps waiting for my army to cook...keep your army cooking while you search for raids...admittedly sometimes i spent upwards of 100k to find a decent base but you'll have to find out which time works best for you:)
whether you follow this or not...make sure to completely max your base before upgrading to th8.. ideally this includes dark e related upgrades as well

I never spoke for him, I just contradicted him. do you have a problem with that? well opinions are opinions. if u can finish walls b4 defs, go for it. anyways, I guess it depends how active you are. if you aren't very active and cant play much like me (can only play about 2 hrs a day, except over summer break, then its like 6 hours a day), then max your defenses. if you can only play like once a week, don't even bother playing the game. if ur pretty active, just get your defenses and walls to a reasonable level. and with TH9 and TH10 99.9999999...% of the time you will finish your defenses b4 walls unless u focus just on walls. for TH7 and TH8, its no surprise if u finish walls b4 defenses. but it makes it a whole lot harder when trying to protect your DE and you have low lvl walls, especially when it comes to DE. air troops, hogs and jump spells don't care about the lvl of the walls. IMO, sharonsym is going to have some more trouble in farming for DE than most normal, good farmers that I know. if u can get more loot faster and easier, by upgrading ur TH, go for it. for people like me, who's loot is already ♥♥ and never gets good, it isn't the case and I stay back. I don't need to max all my walls, but I wanna do it and upgrading my TH will just make it harder. I've been left with DE upgrades and walls to lvl 8 to max TH8 since late January, and now all I have left are walls to lvl 8. im not regretting it cuz of the my conditions, others may.Quote:

Thanks guys. The GG is now 56.5m and EE is now 36.1m. I found a nice farming trophy range which is 1040-1100.
150k-300k gold and 80k-300k elixir per raid.
Thats actually really good. You wont finish gold grab by the time you max th7 by the way
VollsRain gave a real good descriptive break down. It depends a lot on your play style and league, etc.
Given how prolific you seem as a farmer after less than a month (awesome GG and EE!), you should be fine whichever way you go.
Just be more careful with upgrades as you reach TH 9 and (especially) 10 based on all the stuff I've read (only TH 7 myself for a couple more days).
