Walls VS Def

What is your personal opinion. I am just maxing TH9 def and not focusing on walls. I know some of the farming clans, such as Unity, Ex family, and Centum (My clan family) believe in walls, but what do you think is more important?

My opinion is that defenses are more important. I always upgrade my defensive buildings first. When I get close to maxing my TH then I focus more on upgrading walls. I'm not sure that I will ever fully max my wall though. Level 9 walls will probably be where i stop.

Defenses are more important, but walls are important too. They can buy a lot of time for your defenses :)

Big fan Scorch <3, but I feel like walls absorb your time. When I do walls, I cant tend to farm for def buildings. Id rather focus on one at a time, and def is the priority for me.

the reason those clans focus on walls, is just to show that your a hardcore farmer. if you have lvl 9 walls they know your pretty serious about farming( or your a gemmer,but they just check gold grab)

I did both at the same time. It makes more sense to do both at the same time in my opinion. Def is more important than walls to be honest, especially when you're hit with air raids and hogs.

Walls and defenses are equally important in my eyes.

Big fan, and couldn't agree more, but for those who don't play SO often, it's hard to do both at the same time.

If you only have time to do one then definitely do defenses. Walls are mostly just to look good and show time commitment as well as devotion to farming.

Thanks man. I'd focus on splash damage defence first, the other defences are less important and you can afford to upgrade some walls before maxing them for th9. Do you have lvl 8 walls?
