Great base design, going to switch to this tonight and test it for a couple of days.
By chance anyone know how this does compared to m0lt's trophy push base for CW and Hybrid?

I'm lvl 70 with all lvl 7 walls and some lvl 8. I'm th 9 but not even maxed out th 8 yet and haven't been attacked once besides my th being on the outside.
This is a really nice bacon cooker. As someone has said before it will take a lot of effort no less than picking apart a TH10 if you are using hogs and it will be easier to just "next". If I'm forced to to this, the only way is to deal with heroes and cc separately, which is a PitA. Put in some hogs to create a safe spot. Lure heroes to that safe spot. Kill it with cc and some arch/wiz. Put some more hogs at another spot not far form the first hog spot, so the middle defenses are isolate. Then some more hogs on that isolated defense spots so they will go in afterwards. CC comes out. Lure to somewhere and kill with remaining arch/wiz must plus heroes, or there will be nothing left to clean up. Then with remaining only 0-15 hogs depending how good you are (lol), try to clean up that core, and hope heroes not xxxx it up. Yes this base is a PitA against hogs.

This base is the type that is on the extreme end of antihogs, imo even more extreme than the ringus. You know how to put together all the little things to make a good antihog base so I pretty sure you roam this subforum a lot and you should know the difference between defense-led and non defense-led troops.
The stronger it is against defense-led troops, the weaker it is against non defense-led troops, namely, barch, mass drags and gowiwi (in which the case of gowiwi the main characters are the heroes).
What does a totally unlurable clan castle mean to barch? It means the clan castle will never come out, so I might as well just neglect it. Your clan castle will not trigger unless the first layer and second layer of structures are destroyed and that's way over 50% already. With such a big ring, your xbows do not reach the top and bottom corners of your hog ring (sorry been scouting your base :P), that's a very large uncovered area. And since you have air defense inside instead of heroes, it will be more favorable to barch since heroes are easily lured.
I was gonna continue on with mass drags, but then I found that you have all teslas and two air defenses in the core. This is used sometimes in bases and it is indeed better than the traditional way of putting all four air defenses outside the ring. It is safe to say mass drags is not a weakness for this base.
But then again, (sorry :s) there are a whole new breed of bloonion (or mini ball whatever you call it) users spawning now due to Stitch's Youtube channel a few months ago, and also from WiteLightningHWD's channel that recently got a lot of attention due to his 3600 or 3700 achievement I forgot. That horde of loonion users will pick apart any base with the tiniest exploitable spot. With your air defenses that's not symmetrical, you have created weak spots for loons to take advantage of.
For example on the top right side, your air defense barely reaches the archer tower and wizard tower that means the guy can deploy two loons one with each finger and trade both towers away. Well in reality not all will be that confident, so they might double tap, so that's four loons. And double tap definately for bottom left side since there's one more archer tower at bot. After those two are taken out double tap again for the bottom archer tower. With 10 balloons they have eliminated all air defense on two sides, so a minimum number of minions, maybe 5 on each side will take care of all remaining stuff, then mass loons on either remaining untouched side to charge and remember no spells and heroes have been used yet.
I'll be very brief with gowiwi since that's not what TH9s are supposed to defend against. Any base with defense in a ring that look like "O" is weak against gowiwi because the defense are scattered. The guy only need to focus down point defenses on one side, and those xbows and splash will tickle on golems until the end of 3 minutes. Most gowiwi comes with high level heroes which actually is the main point of gowiwi and those two heroes too, walk like a boss in any "O" shape ring base once cannons and archer towers are down on one side.
Sorry for too long. I only comment when the base is good enough, so I know the guy will understand what I'm talking about. :)
Very valid points and I agree with you on the points of the weaknesses of the base and also how it is a strong-suited anti hog base, hence...calling it an anti-hog base lol :rolleyes:. As an only barch user, I can vouch to say that when I see a very centralized CC on a base like this does in the high 2800s+, I am very happy, but still to this day, not many people know how to barch properly and only a handful are very comfortable with it. On the other hand, barching an anti-base is generally a huge "No, No" in my own experiences when using barch at higher leagues due to the surplus amount of buildings that you need to take out in order to get the 50% (ie, barracks, mines, drills, etc) and you can't solely rely on trying to pick off the defenses because when versing a maxed base, the troops will not last long enough, especially since not only are the wizard towers exposed but also the mortars making it another reason why attacking this kind of base would cause problems since splash coverage on the outside are very deadly to barch. AND if you do attack this base with barch, you will be forced to attack heavier on some sides in order to reach buildings on that second layer and when you do that, CC will be trigger, and xbows will cleanup or time will run out due to the troops being focused on the CC.Quote:

Mass drags: Ive only been attacked once in multiplayer, and once in CWs. The first one got a 50% one star on me, just because my CC troops entertained his drags long enough while they received heavy fire by the ADs in the middle. The second one was a little bit smarter, he carried a LS, so he got away with a two star, sadly.
Barch? I dont care to be one stared and lose no loot at all in defense. And even if I did, it isnt such a mainstream army, personally I havent been attacked once by a decent barcher in the month ive been sitting here at crystal 2/1/masters 3.
Loons... I answered already. A good attacker with loons will easily two star my base. I have minions in CC, that can be taken out by a lightning, and my TH is biased to the side, so its a relatively easy 2 star if the guy knows what he's doing.
And gowiwi... Dont even get me started. No TH9 can defend against a decent level gowiwi, it just isnt possible. As soon as xbows are settled at the golems, the heroes can have an easy hit at my TH, then wreck my core apart and aim for the three star if they have enough troops remaining.
Again, thanks for the post, gave me the chance to explain a bit better what my base can (and can't) do.
The whole point of an anti hog is to have a ring of non-defensive buildings around the core of your base, for hogs to run around getting taken out by bombs and leaving the core untouched to be able to defend against the clean up troops.Quote:
