I have maxed my king and all my defenses are going to be maxed in a few days. I have maxed all my traps and all my barracks.
I have 88 level 8 walls. Should I wait to max the remaining 137 walls leaving 5 builders free or should I upgrade immediatly my th?
definitely max walls, no explanation required.
It will save you a lot of hassle - take your time, it is not a race :)
Max everything troops and king included
I upgraded to TH9 when I had less than 50 walls remaining. I told myself at the time that I wouldn't upgrade until I had more than 150 skulls. But then I was doing my walls constantly anyway so it didn't seem that bad.
I say max so you can start level 9 walls right away.
Max your walls before anything, I've had experience with that and will will not regret your decision.

Go to TH9. I went to TH9 a couple days ago with maxed defenses except for teslas(level 5) and 56 level 8 walls. Loot is great at TH9 and i dont know why people are complaining. I am finding 400k+ raids in a couple of searches.
Go to TH 9. Loot is good, you get better troops and you can start upgrading the archer queen.
I remember once when people were saying that if you have idle builders you should upgrade TH...
I don't know. I would max walls, but it's up to you really.
