Donating resources and I know this has been ruled out but still look

Donating resources would really help. I want to help my friends, but donating troops is not enough. In my clan everyone agrees its a good idea. What would stop some people just buying gems together and donating resources is make a resource limit that can be donated

it's ruled out because it could be exploited by double accounts, and it would cause supercell to lose profits, so they can't provide use with upgrades, and some other reasons
