I can't tell you how many times I have been cuing up troops and accidentally tapped a spell I didn't want to make only to have to lose 8-12 THOUSAND elixir on a simple mistake. It seems like a horribly unnecessary feature to an otherwise great game. I believe this should be removed and I'm sure I'm not the only one with these feelings.
Ive had this problem to. But I don't think SC will do anything because its one of those be more careful things. That's all I can say, just be cautious.
I agree this should be removed I don't even know why they do that with spells and not troops.
It certainly needs to be removed. It if a very outdated function.
Spells originally cost more and took much longer to cook, so it was really there as a way to stop playing shuffling elixir.
But spells cost less, cook faster; are needed more than ever in raids; and elixir is often surplus. There is no benefit in doing it anymore.
It serves no purpose today other then to annoy you.
Agree 100% - it needs to be removed. It is annoying and fixing an issue that doesn't exist - any hiding of elixir is only temporary for the duration of the spells being cooked given we cannot queue more spells than the spell factory holds. I have lost track of the number of times I have created the wrong spell because of either fat fingers or trying to press the little i button. I previously made a suggestion that if SC want to retain the penalty then it shouldn't apply for the first (say) 30 seconds to prevent hiding elixir.
