Mortar improvments

All of us noticed that mortars at level 6,7 and 8 shot fire shots , but why dont they put the troops on fire ?
I suggest an improvment for the mortar and its :
- every troop wil be on fire for 5 secondes
- each second will do 1 hitpoint damage
-unlocked at level 6 mortar
- at level 7 it will last for 6 seconds but same damage
-at level 8 it will last for 7 seconds and 1.5 hitpoint damage
-the mortar throw 1 flammable shot after 2 normal shots
-troops cannot be healed when they are on fire ( this will balance the rage effect with giants and healers )
the troops will move faster when they are on fire , +5 speed and deal more damage ( the rage effect )

I think this is a nice idea !

I like the idea of the added special effects

Mortars are not flamethrowers... :(

You don't really have time to see the troops on fire because most of the times these mortars kill the troops.

Mortar hit all clash of clans troops ! Archers goblins and barbarians could die from the dirst hit ! But giants pekkas golems hog riders valkyries and maybe others cant die from the first hit so they will be on fire !

Mortars are trouble enough as it is, we don't need them burning everything down

i wouldn't mind if this was strictly a visual change, but please no burn damage!

Also, I was under the impression that the reason it is on fire is because it is an explosive shell. Hence the massive splash damage.

Well it will be balanced ! When troops are on fire , they will gain a rage effect and that will make them stronger , it will last for 5,6 or 7 seconds ( depends on mortar level ) and they will lose some health
it can be more balanced so its not so powerful : mortars will shot 1 flammable shot after 2 normal shots so the 3rd shot is flammable !

the bigger problem I see with added rage affect is healers-giants that are being healed through any method basically become constantly raged-if the healers good enough won't die! Maybe had it similar to inferno flame where healing affects don't work!?

That sounds a bit more acceptable, but then there is the issue the poster above me pointed out: giant healers will be terrifying

also, I feel that this should be something optional, like a mode of sorts.

Well yes ! It could be an option or troops cant be healed while being burned.
