How to defend against hogs

I have a very nice th9, have copied a few of these anti hog bases and found they are just a myth,yes some bases may have got lucky against an attacker once or twice but at th 9 there is absolutely nothing to defeat hogs,dbl giant bombs arent enough,even when backed up by wizard tower and teslas? So what are we supposed to do to defend as a th 9? Apart from gem to advance or hog the money back you have just lost,then what u lose it again overnight? Ppl say dump money into walls so you dont attract the pigs but how can we advance this way? Yes this is another thread about hogs,those who don't believe they are 2 powerful and really don't take any strategy to use are just lying,plain and simple. Please bring the inferno tower to th 9 so we atleast have a chance to defend,or decrease there health,speed or make them attack everything not just defences.. I can 3 star most th9 with my level3 hogs and honestly it's ridiculous.. Fix it supercell please.

Or.... They could give us level 4 bombs at th9. Currently the max th9 bombs are level 3 which deal 225 damage each. Doubled up, that gives you 450 damage to stop hogs (which only works on level 4 and below hogs), this will leave level 5 hogs with 10 hp (which any experience hogger knows must be healed after being hit with bombs).

Giving us level 4 bombs means doubled up will provide 500 damage, this is instant RIP even to maxed level 5 hogs. This is really the best solution supercell can offer besides - as you stated - multi infernos.

Let us hope our cries will be heard.

I absolutely agree with you. Level 4 bombs available at TH10 is pointless, since at TH10 we have the multi infernos, so don't really need giant bombs to stop hogs anymore. At TH9, having level 4 giant bombs would at least give the defender a chance.

Just a thought, is it viable to put one small bomb in between two giant bombs to achieve instant killing?

Brilliant, using your technique, I just set up dual quad bombs around my defensive ring (2 giant bombs and 2 small bombs inbetween). This deals an accumulated damage of 540 which a level 5 hog (460 hp) can NEVER survive, healing spells or not.

I suppose it is now possible for a th9 to stop maxed hogs in their tracks without much effort.

use anti hog bases with upgraded big bombs

Having a dragon in your clan castle is very effective. I recently learnt that the hard way in clan wars.

Did you even bother reading the thread before posting your obvious drivel?

He has already stated they he has tried a few anti hog bases with not much success. Which I then stated that double bombing is NOT enough to stop maxed hogs with heal spells and quad bombing is the right way to go.

At least reae the thread you comment on before attempting to boost your posts next time.

Not if the the dragon gets lured out and killed before deploying the hogs. If it's against one of the attackers that don't lure out and kill CC- I'd much rather prefer wizards over a dragon in my CC.
