Help me understand what happened to trigger my dragons to attack cc troops?

Perhaps you missed the drags attacking the heros that triggers the same thing. Once on a troop hunt they ignore everything else. If I wasn't clear my bad figured we all knew that hero n cc troops where linked once attacked.

No, I didn't know that heroes and cc troops were linked once attacked, and obviously that isn't the only aspect, there must be a distance factor involved as well. Just got unlucky that the AQ was close to the CC when it was attacked I guess. Just really weird, since I have done that similar attack many times and never seen that happen.

For the person mentioning luring, I hunt with hogs and balloons plenty, I know all about luring. With mass drags often cc troops and heroes are raged through instead of luring.
